All of these ladies have been known to have great remixes! Some have hot club remixes, some have hip hop remixes, some have both! Who has the best?!

Mariah Carey is a house remix legend and was the first pop artist to have hip-hop remixes that were able to be as big for her as the originals.

Janet! I don't own many remixes by the other divas, except Madonna. But then again, I don't really have many good ones from her either.

I spelled Britney's name wrong. ![:-[](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/embarrassed.png) Three or four years ago, I used to spell it Brittany a lot. I just wasn't used to seeing someone with that name, have it spelled the Britney way.

obviously Mariah, one of the few artists who would re-sing her vocals entirely just for a remix, and a trend setter for many techniques used.

Mariah Carey owns the remix. She's the one who invented the whole idea of having an R&B/Rhythmic remix for a Pop song, and "Fantasy" featuring Ol' Dirty Bastard and "Always Be My Baby" featuring Da Brat & Xscape are clearly the inspiration for all these other diva's listed here. And in Mariah's case, they actually ARE identifiable as the title song as well.

Madonna by far...she holds the most number one Dance Club Play singles than any other artist on here. Plus she always goes with new and underground remixers along with mainstream ones. No one really knew of Victor Calderone until his remix of "Frozen" came about. Peter Rauhofer has become more noticable since his remixes of "Nothing Really Matters" and "Impressive Instant". Above & Beyond really took off in the pop-dance market after their remix of "What It Feels Like For A Girl". Tracy Young took off after her remix of "Music". Madonna always has kick ass remixes.
I love Mariah, don't get me wrong, and I give her props for taking the time to re-record her vocals for various remixes. However...when it comes to club remixes...Morales has GOT to go. Sure some of his remixes are okay...but they all sound the same. Her best club remix was the Junior Vasquez mix of "Heartbreaker"...definitely a shining moment for "club-Mariah".
Deborah Cox, and Kristine W also have really good mixes...always very hott and can quickly fill the dancefloor.
Only until the past 2 years have Britney's mixes really been stellar. Once she had Thunderpuss & Hex remix "Don't Let Me Be The Last To Know"...then her remixes stepped up a couple notches...but before then they weren't the greatest. Same goes for Christina.
Janet's remixes are pretty good...but sometimes they can be pretty bland.

it was a toss up with j.lo and mariah.......
the tie-breaker was whether or not I also enjoyed the original version of the song - cause it kind of sucks sometimes when the remix is better than the original...
with that in mind.... mariah got my vote
i thought The Remixes with both a club mixes cd, and the r&b/hip hop mixes was pretty cool.

Mariah, Love it when she re-sings the vocals, now that's what I call a remix.

I like remixes where it becomes another song. So I voted for J Lo because of the ones like Ain't It Funny etc.
Shakira has some good remixes as well, the Shaketon remix of La Tortura is great, the Afropunk version of Objection is really cool, the Sahara mix of Whenever Wherever is good, and meme's jazz version of Un Poco De Amor is really cool as well. Also, the club remixes of Ojos Asi are superb, some of the best I've heard.

She put out a great remix album awhile back. Her dance mixes almost always go to #1 on the dance charts where they are promoted and the remixes are actually good. I voted J.lo though. J.lo's remixes are almost always better than the original song. I can't say the same for Mariah and others.
