Awesome tune from Ms. Love in the '90s. It's great because it's obviously a sequel of sorts to "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" with the Phil Spector-esque, Wall Of Sound production. She even references that song in the lyrics here.
It was made specifically for Home Alone 2: Lost In New York in 1992.

I love this song, and get in the holiday spirit a little more each time I hear it.

I never would have guess this was originally made for "Home Alone 2". I would have thought it was a 60's hit.
Anyways, I love it.

I love it. Darlene and Phil were one hell of a pair.

I love it. Darlene and Phil were one hell of a pair. Was this produced by Spector? I always thought it was just someone mimicking his 60's style production. I've never seen the liner notes to confirm.

I've never seen the liner notes to confirm. Steven Van Zandt wrote it and the E Street Band backed Darlene. This is one of my favorite Christmas songs in the past few decades. It really holds it's own, even up against "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)". Music video

Maybe I was too late ... maybe for the re-release next year. Anywoo - This is HANDS down my #1 or #2 favorite Christmas song of all time! It doesn't feel like Christmas until I hear this or AIWFCIY!

Shadoe Stevens played this song as an AT40 Sneak Peek on the Christmas 1992 AT40 episode.

I love it. It fit the movie perfectly but stands on its own. It's one of my Christmas staples.
