Another holiday essential. Judy Garland's version is untouchable.
Props to Chrissie Hynde, though, for doing a nice rendition on 1987's A Very Special Christmas.

I watched that movie a couple of years ago and thought it was a letdown. I had always wanted to watch it but for some reason I never got around to it. Actually my favorite song Judy performed in this movie is a lesser known Christmas song, simply called “Merry Christmas”. It’s lovely.
Anyway, this song, “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” is a bonafide CLASSIC. I just love it. My favorite version is Mel Tormé’s from Home Alone; excellent rendition.

These lyrics will never stop being relevant during every Holiday season, This song perfectly captured the true spirit of Christmas. Judy Garland was a perfect fit for this in pretty much every way!

Reached a new peak on the Holiday 100 this season, though still deserves so much more in the streaming world.
Note: This peaked at No. 27 on one of the pre-Hot 100 charts. Would have to research exactly which one it was.
Dreams- I like the movie. Not a patch on The Wizard of Oz, but enjoyable nonetheless. Not sure which song you're referring to, though, off-hand, if you could provide a link. :)

I was referring to this: but I just checked and this song is actually from the 1949 movie In The Good Old Summertime, not Meet Me In St. Louis. I'll need to watch that film now!

^Ahhhh. Thanks; that didn't sound familiar in regard to Meet Me.... That song is lovely, and the melody when she sings "for a very merry Christmas time" sounds similar to "Have Yourself..." Wonder if it was the same writers.
