Ashanti didn't credit anything. Carl Thomas sampled it last year for "She Is" however. Carl's "She Is" doesn't sound like Ashanti's "Happy" to me.

Man, this video is corny!! Reminds me of music videos from the period between 1998-2000. I don't think JoJo's gonna have another hit. She's too young and naive to be taken serious. I think she should chill back and re-emerge in a few years.
My prediction: 23

I heard this on Wild 98.7 today... I don't really like it, but vocally she sounds a LOT like SWV on this song.

Dang they played her on Wild 98.7 ? I've never heard this song, is it more Urban leaning than Leave?
When I was down there I think I only heard them play Leave once.

They had "Leave" in the top ten of their playlist back in late winter/early spring (when she appeared at the Wild Splash concert here in Clearwater). Then when the song blew up at pop and FLZ started playing it, Wild dropped it. They only recently started playing "Leave" again (occasionally). Not sure how I'd compare the Urban-ness of the two songs...

The song is definitely not as good as "Leave" but it is still a pretty good song. I'll predict top 20. I doubt it'll go top ten though

I prefer the album version, with JoJo by herself. Bow Wow adds nothing to the track. In fact, I think he takes away from it. I know this was completly a publicity stunt, and it's just to gain JoJo more exposure, but I think the song should have been released without Bow Wow.

My station plays it without Bow Wow. :) It's weird though since they're pretty rhythmic leaning.

Ah I see Yea I remember her performing at WildSplash I saw the video the other night for the first time, and I didn't see Bow Wow in it at all. She was kind of flirting with the white guy who was working at the carnival, towards the end. I haven't heard the version with Bow Wow either, but I thought he was just in the video and not an actual remix of the song. I heard the song on the radio today for the first time, WKSE and it's alright but it's kind of a mess. This won't do as well as Leave, and I fear she may start to appear as a one-hit wonder, at least for the time being. It's a nice song and she doesn't sound bad or anything, but it just sounds kind of...weird

Theres nothing special about this one. Without its predecessor this one would never come close to charting. Its charmless, boring, and underwhelming IMO. Wild guess #18.

I agree the song doesn't stand out, but it's still good. I don't believe it deserves #1 like LEAVE, but I think it deserves Top 10. Hopefully, her label will go back to their original plan and release "Weak" as the next single. Radio needs another female R&B slow jam.

Baby It's You is a pretty good song. It's not as good as Leave but hopefully it'll still do well on the pop chart. I think this song's got a chance to make the top 10.
My prediction: #8

Billboard ReviewNeophyte teen sensation JoJo sashayed her way to a top 20 pop hit with the wildly infectious, done-me-wrong anthem "Leave (Get Out)." The singer treads the same relationship waters—albeit from a more positive stance—on her second outing. Similarly, this slightly off-kilter, Indian rhythm-spiced pop confection travels the same musical path as its predecessor. A catchy, sing-along hook is coupled with lyrics aimed directly at JoJo's MTV-reared constituency: "Can somebody explain to me/Why everybody is trying to be/Living like a celebrity/Doing what they see on MTV/Ice is cool but I'm looking for more/Simple things is what my heart beats for." There's certainly no mold-breaking going on here. But that shouldn't prevent this single from enjoying its share of multiformat chart success.—GM

This song is crap. Plain stupid...everything from the beat to the singing. I wasn't expecting much from JoJo, but something more than this track.
My prediction: 21

This song is the jam! It is such a "feel good" song. It makes me want to eat cotton candy or something. :)
JoJo can sing better than the vast majority of artists on the pop chart. Even way better than the artist who sing the current #1 song. :o Shocking "ain't" it? What's the world coming to? I'm sure if I sung with a 'Kermit the Frog' style vocals --- I'd have a hit too. LOL!
I love "Baby It's You." I enjoy it more than "Leave (Get Out)." I think it is such a strong followup and it needs to gain some more attention.

I am really starting to love this song. I don't think she needs the remake with Bow Wow however. He really doesn't add much to the song

I haven't heard the remix with Bow Wow, but I like the original. It sounds really good on the radio.

If I was a child I might feel some contemporary connection but I'm not and I don't. I don't like it and I hope this trend of prepubescent pop singers dies very quickly--if not pop will. I hope this songs curfew is #17

I'm trying to love it, only because JoJo is so sexy. Sadly, I can't seem to get myself to like it as much as I want to.

Well Rayo De Luz aka geoguy is 17. I don't see much of a problem with him thinking that JoJo is sexy. :) Not much of an age difference.

She don't got a$$ though. She looks really good in all those sexy outfits she wears, but she needs more rump.
