I really like "Fly"- I think it's Hilary's best song so far.

I wrote somewhere this song is about as deep as a Koolaid stain. Its oddly matched barbie singer and sophisticated tight rock production just make it creepy--another machine made asexual song with no heart and the bouquet of a "Shirley Temple". Its just wierd buuuuuuuuuuuut its "Heavy" rock and roll for the headbanger 10 year olds.
It looks like it might reach the top 10. Ugh!

Its slowing down.
:(
I know, I know, its not the best song. But if so many crappy song can do well, why can't this one?

It's only +93 and #29. Before you tell me it's Labor Day weekend, look at the rest of the bullets in comparison. "Fly" is done.

yea its pretty much done but why? this is probably her best song ever. It was off to a really good start then it just dropped. Where did the rest of her singles peak? I hav enot really followed her singles, so is this the norm for one of her singles? It doesnt seem like it since "come clean" got into top 50 on the hot 100 i think and so yeaterday" got into top 40 on the hot 100 i believe.

So Yesterday (which had a CD single) peaked at #42 and Come Clean (which was airplay-only) peaked at #35.

I wouldn't put the brakes on this song just yet. Although it has less than a +100 bullet, it's Labor Day weekend and with the anticipation of her new Cd in the coming weeks, this song will catch fire once again. I have a feeling her record company might use some payola to get this in the top 10. I wouldn't give up on this song. If it doesn't pick up within the next week and it loses its bullet, then it might be over, but I wouldn't be surprised if this song has a +500 bullet by the end of the week.
My Prediction: 12

Nah, there's no way this song is falling anywhere short of the Top 10. I didn't expect it to slow down this much before its bullet picked back up, but she'll be back up to at least 300+ by the end of the chart period. Look at My Happy Ending, Breakaway, etc... they all slowed down in this region, then picked up gains again.

Thank god. Send her back to Radio Dizney and keep her there.

I love Hilary Duff. This song is just blah though. I think she'll continue to have success, but she should have waited a little bit longer between putting out albums.

The juxtaposition of Hillarys voice against this dark rock vibe is like taking Barbies clothes off. just nothing-blech

I personally can't see why "Fly" has slowed down significantly. I truly thought this track had the staying power to become a successful Mainstream hit. A #29 peak just seems like such an underestimation to me.
I can see if she made at least the top 20 but to have a #29 song for such a catchy and radio friendly song is rather puzzling IMO.

wow she lip synched this at the world music awards. it was so obvious. She sung over the pre recorded vocals on and off. she has no excuses...she wasnt even dancing.

I've been hearing this more lately...to the point where I almost know the words to the bridge/chorus
It's not a bad song, but ehh...its Hilary Duff...can't really been taken too seriously

This ones dead. Hillarys lip synching performance at the WMAs hurt a lot more more than helped.
I've noticed radio DJs have been pretty frosty about this one. I don't think anybodys requesting it but pre-teens.

This song isn't that bad. I actually kind of like it, although it sounds like many songs I've heard before rolled into one. Her new album hower is awful. I was shocked at how bad it was. She obviously has a significant fanbase who'll buy it no matter how bad it is, but I have to wonder how far it'll get if there are no hit singles.

I hate that this song isn't going far. I think (depending on Raise your Voice's success) it should have been released a few weeks before the movie came out, so people, after seeing the movie, would want to hear the song and request, etc. I think by the time the movie comes out now, this song is history. ;;tears for hil;; :'(

This song's going nowhere. I expected it to shoot back up to a +500 gain, but it died. I guess radio is hesitant to add the "new" Hilary. Although all of Hilary's stuff is crap, this is "decent" crap.

Everytime I listen to the keyboards in this song, it sounds a bit warped as if its sampling another song.

This song had potential, but was sidelined by new songs from Eminem, Britney and DC. Depending on the hype of her new album, this song could slowly regain its bullet. But the hype isn't strong, and the album is only expected to sell 200k...which is not what I expected.
