I hear that James Blunt has sold a little over 12m ww which is highly believable cause he has sold over 6.2 million units ww in 06. Plus he's still doing quite well ww now. Also, I heard that U2's last album sold about 10m ww. Greenday I've heard about 13 to 14 million ww. Which is pretty believable for all. i start only for 2006 albums..
the data about albums selling DURING 2006 (so consdider also album released before 2006 (blunt,u2 etc..) are www.mediatraffic.de data, but have the problem that they cover only data when an album stay in their top 40, so an album can stay 20 wks at pos #41..selling other 2 millions copies that they don't consider it.
