USA - RIAA's Gold & Platinum Awards: August 2007 T.I. comes out on T.O.P. WASHINGTON - Rapper T.I. has done it again by adding another certification to his tally. His fourth album for Atlantic, T.I. vs T.I.P., matched the Platinum success of his first three, according to the August report of Gold and Platinum certifications by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). A concept album featuring T.I. battling his alter-ego, T.I. vs T.I.P represents the split personality of T.I. as both a street hustler and high-roller. But no matter which T.I. fans prefer, it¡¯s clear they pick this latest offering by launching it to both Gold and Platinum certification. The popular, well-known Now That¡¯s What I Call Music! hits series continues its Platinum streak with the Capitol-released album Now That¡¯s What I Call Music! 25. Volume 25, a collection of this summer¡¯s chart topping hits, sold more than 1 million units, certifying it both Gold and Platinum. Its forerunner released on Universal Records, Now That¡¯s What I Call Music! 24, also achieved Gold and Platinum status this month. Country artist Joe Nichols received his first ever Platinum award this month by reaching the 1 million mark for his 2002 Universal South release Man with a Memory. It¡¯s likely he¡¯ll remember this one. Rock icon Bon Jovi is still captivating his audiences not only in tight pants but also with another exciting and fan-satisfying release titled Lost Highway. This 2007 Mercury Nashville album has already hit Gold by selling more than 500,000 copies. This certification marks Bon Jovi¡¯s twelfth certified album with a total of more than 33.5 million albums sold to date. Not only were they featured on a single from Bon Jovi¡¯s Lost Highway but country rock duo Big & Rich are also busy with the success of their 2007 Warner Brothers release Between Raising Hell & Amazing Grace, certified Gold. Not often does gym class turn out to be a positive and life-changing experience. For two boys that met in physical education class and co-founded the band Gym Class Heroes, the experience proved its weight in Gold. The group used their unique mix of rap, rock, and R&B to gain their first ever Gold record for their Fueled By Ramen 2006 release As Cruel as School Children. Their chart topping single ¡°Cupid¡¯s Chokehold¡± was certified as a Platinum digital single last month, selling more than 1 million downloads. Hailing from Boston, the new pop/rock group Boys Like Girls received their first RIAA certification with their single ¡°The Great Escape.¡± This single was certified Gold and is the first track from their self-titled debut album released on Columbia Records. The RIAA awarded a total of 15 albums, 1 digital single and 1 Master Ringtone. All certifications are calculated by Gelfand, Rennert & Feldman. Complete lists of all album, single, mastertone and video awards can also be accessed at www.riaa.com. ##### The Recording Industry Association of America is the trade group that represents the U.S. recording industry. Its mission is to foster a business and legal climate that supports and promotes our members' creative and financial vitality. Its members are the record companies that comprise the most vibrant national music industry in the world. RIAA¢ç members create, manufacture and/or distribute approximately 90% of all legitimate sound recordings produced and sold in the United States. In support of this mission, the RIAA works to protect intellectual property rights worldwide and the First Amendment rights of artists; conducts consumer, industry and technical research; and monitors and reviews state and federal laws, regulations and policies. The RIAA¢ç also certifies Gold¢ç, Platinum¢ç, Multi-Platinum¢â, and Diamond sales awards, as well as Los Premios De Oro y Platino¢â, an award celebrating Latin music sales.

nice thanxs once again for that list, but i think that both nickelback older releases numbers are old, Silver Side Up's numbers are from May 2006 and The Long Road's numbers are from the end of the 2006...
Is it possible to find their current exact sales, or do we have to have to wait for the end of the year so someone will post them as a surprise?
