From a gossip site, so it's quite biased and informal: Shocker: J. Lo is Abusive to Commoners!Current celebrity PETA target Jennifer “Jenny from the Block” Lopez ix-nayed a documentary by acclaimed director D.A. Pennebaker, who filmed the pop star making her Rebirth album. According to a source at Radar, even though J. Lo’s managers and execs from her label, Sony, loved the finished movie, Mrs. Marc Anthony was “‘stunned’ by her depiction, complaining angrily about the sound of her voice and scenes showing her abusing [Pennebaker’s] employees.” Instead of worrying about certain scenes in the film, maybe she should just work on not being a bitch. 66.161.86.126/gossip.asp

So what is her next film about? "An Unfinished Life" is a drama. A down on her luck woman, desperate to provide care for her daughter, moves in with her father in-law from whom she is estranged. Through time, they learn to forgive each other and heal old wounds.

I can't wait for her movie with Nicole Kidman, American... something. People are saying that it could be her Oscar-worthy film.

The movie would still do good if not better even if JLO wasnt on it. Its the script baby, its not JLO, you've already seen a lot of movie flops for JLO so its not her that carries the movie, its the other cast or the story.

Yeah right, put Salma Hayek in the movie let the movie be a hit, and what J.Lo flop movies? the big flop of her career was Gigli

u.dailybulletin.com/Stories/0,1413,212~23497~2870033,00.html "J.LO: With the sun gone and a cool breeze blowing, it took J.Lo to set the stadium ablaze. The hip-hop diva and actress delivered a stunning display of sheer star power - and she wasn't about to play along with the G-rated theme of the day. Wearing a black T-shirt with the "F" word emblazoned boldly on the front, Lopez was a whirlwind of energy. An action-packed medley of her hits kicked off a short but fiery segment that was apparently only partly lip-synced. Fronting a heady stage show with bursts of pyrotechnics, and dancers and rappers working out behind her, Lopez whirled in her tight-tight-tight jeans and was plainly having a great time, at one point declaring, "I'm in the mood for funk." And so was the cheering and hotly charged crowd, which matched J.Lo for attitude right to her last number. It doesn't get better than a J.Lo show and we all wished she'd stuck around longer" Looks like Jennifer sotle the show! Go Jenny!

From IMDB : Musical/Drama Swing musicians rally around Nicole Kidman and Jennifer Lopez and storm the male-oriented club scene in this pre-WWII period piece.

Jennifer Lopez and Jane Fonda fought their way to the top of the box office on Friday as their new comedy Monster-in-Law opened at number one with an estimated $8M in its first day of release. The New Line film registered the largest opening day gross ever for the Gigli star and should lead to her first $20M+ opening weekend ever. Monster-in-Law will attempt to lead the weekend with $22-25M marking a career best for both actresses.
Will Ferrell landed in his familiar second place spot on Friday with the launch of his competing comedy Kicking and Screaming which opened with an estimated $6.3M. The Universal title looks to finish a close second for the weekend with $20-23M but also stands a chance of claiming the top spot if family business surges on Saturday and Sunday.
Opening with a mighty punch was the Jet Li-Morgan Freeman action film Unleashed which collected an estimated $3.8M on Friday from about 1,500 fewer theaters than the two big debuting laughers. The Focus release should find $10-11M for the session. The weekend's final new release, Miramax's Mindhunters, stumbled to an estimated $700,000 on Friday and will gross about $2M over the three-day frame.
Overall, the new films will give the box office a much-needed boost in sales from last week as the top ten looks to post its best cume in two months. However, grosses should still fall a bit short of the $100.6M that the top ten collected one year ago when Troy opened to a powerful $46.9M.
