I really love Me Pase; Farruko sounds great on it. The rest of the album, unfortunately, sounds very cheaply produced. The second half of the album is the star with songs we've had for a while already.

Enrique's previous two albums were eclectic and that actually worked for them but sometimes it works better to have a more cohesive sound. I think a re-working of the track list would have made this flow better but despite being the same pop-reggaeton genre most of the new Spanish tracks created specifically for the album feel very different to the previously released hits included here and the English pop tracks sound like they belong on an entirely different album.
Individually the songs are all pretty good. The Bailando formula has obviously served him well but there was a sense that it was starting to wear out it's welcome; the muted response to Me Pase outside of the Latin airplay charts seem to bare that out. Pendejo both the song and MV come across as much more contemporary and it's provocative title aside it works very well as a modernised version of the classic Enrique ballad. Te Fuiste is a great one too and I love that Myke Towers references the titles of most of Enrique's past albums in his rap. If there is any more singles from this surely that's the track they'll choose.
The English tracks are all fun to listen to. I don't know if they will release an English single but while it's a long shot I could see All About You potentially catching on and it seems to be one Enrique himself seems to like. It's my least favourite of the new tracks but I could see them going for Chasing The Sun as an English single as they played that when he did his interview with Elvis Duran and they are using it in a lot of his social media posts. A saw a comment saying it sounds kinda Maroon 5-ish which I totally hear but since they're not having hits on radio right now this might fill the void. The vocal production on that song sounds a bit odd but then it might sound cool coming out of the radio where everything is compressed and digitised anyway; I felt that worked for Enrique's I Like It.
Interesting that he eschewed some of his longtime collaborators for this one. Neither of the Metro guys show up and I would have thought he would have roped in Redone for a track. I'm hoping they show up in Vol. 2. I know he's not actually retiring and will still release standalone singles but I do want the second half of this project to feel more like a celebration of career.

Looks like I may have been right about Chasing The Sun being a potential single. He performed the song on the opening date of his tour with Ricky and Sebastian and on the screen the were playing parts of what looked like a music video.

I didn’t realize he was on tour, and with Ricky Martin and Pitbull!

On March 29th Enrique will release the second volume of his Final album, the first was released in 2021 and contained the string of reggaeton hits like Duele El Corazon, Subeme La Radio and El Perdon that he had in the mid 2010s as well as new tracks. The new album will be all new tracks in both English and Spanish. A few different singles are out already on different radio formats such as Asi Es La Vida, Fria and Space In My Heart. He's worked with longtime producers Metro who did a lot of his early English stuff, there is a track from Redone who did a lot of his 2010s EDM songs and the Space Primates who produced all the English tracks on Vol. 1. On the Spanish side he's worked with Decemer Bueno who has done most of his Spanish stuff since the 2010s and Llorame Un Rio is a cover of one of his songs though Enrique has re-written it. While this will be his final album he's said he will still release stand alone singles from time to time.
The confirmed tracklist is:
Así Es La Vida - with Maria Becerra
Fría - with Yotuel
Space In My Heart with Miranda Lambert
La Botella - with El Alfa
Love and Pain
Me Voy Acostumbrando
Como Yo
Llorame Un Río - with Belinda
Be Together
Espacio En Tu Corazón

Is this meant to be his last studio album?

Is this meant to be his last studio album? Yes. He may release stand alone singles from time to time but as for studio albums this will be it for the foreseeable future.
