Hey, just wanted to let everyone know about a new record label and publishing company starting up, Pure Tone Music (www.puretonemusic.com) is run by Pete Ganbarg who has A&R'ed everyone from Santana to Run DMC to Paris Hilton. Pete is also in the process of getting his own artists started. His two bands are a lot like The Shins. He's looking for new artists right now as well as some bands to do some publishing stuff with. Pete's also looking for some office staff and A&R people to start working for him. Also, if you're trying to break in the business, the site has a great Q and A section with everything you could ever want to know about the business. I highly suggest checking it out.
