The song slowed down a lot in the last couple of days and even fell to #5 on Billboard. At least it hit the Top 10 on Pop and the Top 5 on Rhythmic and Urban, but I expected more...looks like DC won't have a #1 hit from this album.

What do you expect? They recorded the album in like three weeks. Obviously it wasn't a priority. It's more like "How can we make some money?" Its sad because I really like DC. But this album isn't cutting it. The only song I'm really feeling is Cater 2 U.

This song has a very volatile bullet. It stormed out of the gate with huge numbers, only to slow down to +200s. It then made its way back up all the way to +1000, and after the bullets all return back to normal after the break, it lost plenty of ground. Now, the song seems to be making up for lost mileage on pop. It should be passing the +800 barrier tomorrow.
I think this will do better than Lose My Breath (on both pop and Hot100) and has a possible shot at no. 1 (on pop), which is impressive taking into consideration that this single is nowhere as pop-friendly as Lose My Breath.

I was just noticing that about the bullet. I might be remembering incorrectly, but didn't Lose My Breath have a similar kind of jump/slow pattern? I wonder why that is.

I think Lose My Breath slowed down a lot once in the top 10 due to the fact that the video was released very late into the song's release. However, Lose My Breath still chugged along nicely once the video was released. About a couple of weeks after that, I think Soldier officially went for adds, and Lose My Breath started its slow descend down the top 10.

That makes sense. Now explain Soldier's weird bullet, lol. I'd say that the first bullet slowdown was due to Lose My Breath not falling as fast as expected.

This song bugs me. It's too generic...even for DC. The entire album is generic...seems like a bunch of producers put "hit" songs on the record just to make it sell. And the lyrical content is ridiculous...how much time did they spend on this album? Well, the album's already certified 3x platinum. Pretty impressive considering it's only been released for eight weeks.

Its more deserving than "Drop It Like Its Hot", "My Boo" and "Let Me Love You" This piece of garbage is NOT better than "Let Me Love You". Not by a landslide.

How does this bullet keep increasing? It was down to like 300 or 400 and now it's almost up to 900? LOL
Anyways, this song, was in my head, for THREE days straight this week. I swear, it was incredible. I could NOT get the s**t out of my head! From Monday, to like Wednesday night. I had to play it 6 times in a row when I got home that night, and it did work, the next day it wasn't in my head anymore.
Lately Michelle's part is stuck in my head, moreso than Kelly and Beyonce's. I didnt like Michelle's verse much at first, but now it has reversed I guess because I got tired of Kelly and Beyonce's.
The song is still in my head though, just not as bad. It's incredibly insane, with this song! And it's not even a song that I can admit to...LOL
but I HATE how WKSE plays the no-rap version. That SUCKS! Do all Pop stations play that version? z103 and Flow play the version with TI and Lil Wayne, that's the one I like, the raps are my favourite parts of the song.

Why is this song gaining so much during the weekend. At this rate, it should be over +1000 by tomorrow.

This might outpeak LMB at Pop. The wierd thing is that it outpeaked LMB at Pop(well, is going to), Rhythmic and Urban yet it only hit #4 on the hot 100 while LMB hit #3.

This song is just about done. After it started gaining at +900 last week I thought it would have a chance at #1 but it has suddenly started to drop.

The maxi-cd single for this is out on Tuesday (Feb. 8th, same day as the dualdisc rerelease of DF). It has 5 mixes on it.

The song is nearly bulletless but it was able to make it to #3 on the hot 100, so IMO this was just as successful as LMB.

I think that Soldier could have hit #1 if it was released in summer of last year but LMB was released when there wasn't to much competition and still couldn't make it up there. Soldiers audience peak was around 158 million while LMB's audience peak was around 124 million.
