I hope Missy keeps her "guest" artists to a minimum of 3-4. I don't. Missy always has numerous collabos on her albums. |

106 & Park Report: Missy Drops a Date As for the album, she announced that it's scheduled to drop MAY 6TH. She again said Timbaland gave her 5 crazy bangers. Otherwise, she's keeping mum about the guests on her next record. YAY! I really hope it doesn't get pushed back, not even a week, but given that a first single is out and she has all the time to release a second one before the album drops I see no problems. |

So that song IS also going to serve as the album's first single? I think it's a pretty good song. Not the best but listening to it closely, it's pretty cool! I'm looking forward to new Missy!

I really want Missy to do a full-on R&B album. She's one of the best R&B songwriters ever and she can really sing, she's always fronting like she can't sing LOL. Maybe in a few years she'll do an R&B album. Well the original plan for The Cookbook was for it to be a double-disc: one disc being hip-hop and the other being R&B. So I think she may get around to making an R&B album sooner than everyone thinks. |

I don't like "Ching-A-Ling" anymore, and while "Shake Your Pom Pom" is better, it's still not enough. That said, I'm just happy to have Missy around again!

So what's going on with this project?
Haven't heard anything in many weeks since those I think two songs reached the internet and were talks about a 3d video or something like that. I was really not impressed by those two songs. They sounded like something she's done so many times already. Nothing new. She used to impress me so much (music and videos), but I haven't seen that in a while..... If those two songs were supposed to be the ones starting this whole era, I guess they're nor really working well. The single already should've exploded everywhere. Am I missing something? I haven't seen any excitement in the media
