i think the album would be a good idea...it will give her some time to let all the controversy calm down and then she will be able to come back and do movies...it's just that no studio will hire her as of right now, but the recording industry doesn't need to insure her like the film industry will...she can get past this...she just needs this to be the last of her exploits!

Um...chased someone in her car, drove drunk, got caught with drugs, drove drunk a second time...etc etc. Seriously. Drove drunk, cocaine possession. Drove drunk with her licence suspended (revoked maybe?) with cocaine AGAIN and chased someone. Paris drove drunk and drove without a licence and she got 45 days and Lindsay gets 1? What the hellll. How is she ever going to learn? |

"Lindsay Lohan reached a plea deal Thursday on misdemeanor drunken driving and cocaine charges that calls for her to spend one day in jail, serve 10 days of community service and complete a drug treatment program.
She was also placed on 36 months probation, is required to complete an 18-month alcohol education program, pay hundreds of dollars in fines and must complete a three-day county coroner program in which she'll visit a morgue and talk to victims of drunken drivers."
Ehh.
It's not severe enough I think.

She should have received at LEAST a month. She's not gonna learn ANYTHING now. She'll be back partying as soon as she gets out. I miss the wholsome Lindsay. And I still want a new album. Looks like that's not gonna be anytime soon.

only 1 day?!?!?!That's not enough!Look at Paris,it "seems" she stopped doing those bad things,at least for now...
however,I think she should forget about recording albums,she's wasting time and money on these projects...

It's not like her albums are very expensive to make anyways. Well she has to be drug tested and seriously monitored for like 36 months so...it'll be hard for her to party right away... Well Nicole was supposed to serve 4 days and got out in 82 minutes.
So Lindsay spening one day, will amount to 22 minutes.

Lindsay Lohan has checked out of the exclusive Cirque Lodge Treatment Center in Utah, where she has been since August, multiple sources, including both of her parents, confirm to PEOPLE.
"She's finished the program," one source says. "Lindsay is done, but she may come back for outpatient treatment. She over-extended her stay because she wanted to. She could have been out awhile ago, but she chose to stay."
Lohan's mother, Dina, told PEOPLE Friday: "I'm proud of her. She's moving ahead with her life. Things were getting out of control. She took action. She took responsibility. She really needed to heal."
Lohan was photographed Friday afternoon with her father Michael, who carried her suitcases, leaving Cirque Lodge. "I will be there in her life as best I can but from here on she's going to have a lot of decisions to make on her own," Michael told PEOPLE Friday. "Now that she is going out into the world, I can only hope for the best."
The father and daughter reunited last month for the first time in three years when he paid a visit to her in rehab. "I'm enjoying my time with Lindsay and I'm happy to see and believe she's the Lindsay I last saw three years ago, before all this turmoil came into her life," says Michael. "I am trying my best to lead by example and institute important tools."
Of the actress's reunion with her father, Lohan's mom, Dina, told PEOPLE recently: "It can only help her recovery. It's time to mend."

And Lohan is already gearing up for her return to work: A source says she has plans to start filming her tango-themed move, Dare to Love Me, in Los Angeles on Oct. 15. Plus, says the source, despite reports suggesting Lindsay is an insurance liability for film studios, Lohan has been insured for this film.
"Lindsay will start her life over," says the source. "She's gotten rid of the people around her who were bad influences."

(BANG) - Lindsay Lohan's planned release from rehab has reportedly been blocked after she failed a drugs test.
The 'Mean Girls' star - who has been receiving treatment for drug and alcohol addiction at Utah's Cirque Lodge for two months - was said to have completed her programme last week but it has been claimed she was forced to stay on after testing positive for cocaine.
Insiders also alleged she has been drinking alcohol and mixing diet pills with prescription anti-anxiety medication in a bid to get high.
A source told Australia's New Weekly magazine: "I think she'll take whatever pills they allow her. It's obvious to me she's high because she acts loopy and can't seem to walk in a straight line!"
Another insider said: "She had a friend sneak vodka in a water bottle into one of the Alcoholics Anonymous meetings she goes to. Everyone wants her to be their friend, so they'll do anything for her.
"She smells like booze, and the staff do nothing about it.
"I asked her if she had any intention of being sober and she looked at me like I was crazy. She's still doing whatever she wants."
Lindsay, 21, is due to serve the one-day jail sentence she received for her DUI (driving under the influence) conviction in May, and was scheduled to start shooting a movie in mid-October.
The actress' father Michael Lohan joined her at the facility yesterday (02.10.07) for a five-day retreat in the Utah mountains to rebuild their relationship.
PLEASE TELL ME THAT IS NOT TRUE.

I can't watch her good movies anymore. When she was young she was the darling in Parent Trap, and then moved onto Freaky Friday and Mean Girls. I mean, guys she was parodying this stuff. And now she is at the lowest of lows. I want her to get better... I wonder where it all went wrong.
