Damn all those singles and they still cant go triple platinum. I know thats what there label is waiting for. Almost 2.6 million units sold isnt bad but for them that isnt good. They should be selling far more than that. They have had so many successful singles on radio and still after all this time they still havent sold 3 million units. Thats just flat out patheic.
They are really cool though.

You have to look at the industry as a whole...records don't sell good, even gold has become a big deal now...

I dont know anyone who would say that gold is a huge deal...or 2 million a huge deal for a highly promoted artist getting a billion airplay hits.

Well, there singles did sell a boat load. People only care about the song now a days not the actual album. So, we put that into consideration too.

That TV search for the new Pussycat Doll thing said they sold 6 million?! Is that like all singles + album + digital combined or something worldwide..cuz that seems awefully inflated...

Their singles have sold over 5M, add the 2.6M their album has sold, thats 7.6M records from one album in the US alone. Thats HUGE. No questions asked.

'The Search for The Next Doll' is a hit. :)
From Programming Insider:
Tuesday's Winners:
American Idol (Fox), House (Fox), Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll (CW)
The debut of The CW’s Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll lifted the 9 p.m. hour to an improved 3.90 million viewers and a 1.7/ 4 among adults 18-49, with retention out of lead-in Gilmore Girls (Viewers: #5, 4.44 million; A18-49: #4, 2.0/ 5) of a solid 88 percent in total viewers and 85 percent in the demo. Pussycat Dolls delivered The CW’s best performance to-date in the Tuesday 9 p.m. hour in the two aforementioned categories, plus adults 18-34 (2.0/ 6 – tie), women 18-34 (3.1/ 8), women 18-49 (2.4/ 5), teens (2.7/ 8) and female teens (4.3/13), with growth out of Gilmore Girls of 29 percent and 26 percent, respectively, in the two teen demos. Pussycat Dolls also built from recent occupant Veronica Mars by double-digit across-the-board percentages. Combined with Gilmore Girls, The CW scored its highest rated Tuesday in women 18-34 (3.4/ 9), with a second-place finish from 8-10 p.m. among adults 18-34 (2.2/ 6), women 18-34, women 18-49 (2.6/ 6), teens (2.4/ 7) and female teens (3.9/11). You have to hand it to PH – the man does his job!
Get it PCD!

I'm rooting for Chelsea Korka to win the competition. She's by far the best singer, and could easily replace Nicole if they needed her to. Check out Chelsea Korka Web.

Asia is blah. I hate Chelsea. Sorry, but she's fug.
Melissa S or R should win. I wouldn't mind Anastacia either.

Okay.. if they are replacing Nicole, Chelsea should get it. If not, and they're just looking for a back-up singer/dancer, it should be Melissa R. I don't want Chelsea's talent to be wasted by being a back-up singer.
I absolutely despise Asia.
