So any predictions yet for chart positions or sales? Top 10. About 150,000 in its first week.

So any predictions yet for chart positions or sales? I'd guess somewhere between 60K and 75K, maybe a bit higher if they get Keyshia/Teairra style discount pricing.

You have to remember that since "Don't Cha" has been selling tons of singles (both physical and digital), so less people might not want to buy the album off of just that one song. Just look at Rihanna's sales this week - "Pon De Replay" was also a HUGE hit , yet she could only manage about that amount of sales.

I guess so, but pussycat dolls are a group, and girl groups are far and few in between, there are 1001 rihannas skipping about these days,
also dont cha is way more inventive than pon de replay, and i just have a feeling, plus PCD has been promoted FAR better than music of the sun..
and pop crossover rnb albums will always sell more, because they appeal to both pop and rnb audiences,
and like the other person said about the hurricane, perhaps rihanna wouldda sold heaps more?
well in about 2 weeks to this day well know how theyv done!

That's what I'm thinking(especially since disclosed that two of the girls don't even sing...right ???).......they may end up doing rihanna/tierra numbers.

Don't Cha is number 41 this week on the UK charts based on strictly import sales. Which is mighty impressive.
Based on mid-weeks, Don't Cha is set for a number 1 debut next week in the UK. Looks like their European promo trip is paying off big time.

The reviewer stated that the most of the Dolls actually have pretty nice voices.

Loving them doesn`t undermine me of knowing the album`s qualities. The album`s not for the three stars it got (two and a half @ its most). Lemme give u an example: I love Eminem but this doesn`t mean I`d automatically grant all his four albums four stars. I`m just too hard to please and too picky. And for me their first album`s a too big mess (I generally prefer more compact-sounding albums not so soundtrack-ish). But I really like the group, don`t get me wrong. They do have a future. :)

The album is very camp. Nicole is gonna have to go and find a new girl group again because the Pussy Cat Dolls will be long forgotten in a few weeks once there album sells absolutley nothing. But there is hope I hear Latyoa and Farrah formerly of Destiny's Child are looking for new group members.

I actually think the "camp" aspect will help them succeed, because it sets them apart from a lot of other girl groups. Granted, there's a dearth of girl groups period, which also helps in their favor. Combine that with some genuinely radio friendly songs (if "My Humps" can be a hit so should "Beep"), they could do all right.

well, usually girl groups attract girls and gay guys, and so the "camp" effect is perfect.. being gay myself, i would know this!

The camp factor will probably help them overseas but hurt them in the US, where camp doesn't go over as well.

(if "My Humps" can be a hit so should "Beep"), they could do all right. not necessarily.. while not the best, I quite like the hook on "My Humps" as opposed to "Beep". True, they both feature the BEP sound, but doesn't mean they both deserve to be hits. I really think something is missing from "Beep" that will prevent it from being big. Am I the only one that thinks the chorus gets kind of annoying after a few spins?

I am 100% behind the Dolls...I think they are a lot more talented then people think. Their sound is fresh, their hooks are catchy and their look is hot! I hope this album blows up :)
