Woman on the hood of the car, not a good look at all. Looks like someone just threw her up there and snapped the picture, bad pose. She appears to be hanging on for dear life.

Whats the reason of having a stripper anthem without having a hot girl on a car?

I think Luda will be aight. I don't see the 3 million or more, but I think he can pull at least 1.5-2 million in sales because people are still feeling him. He's one of the hottest rappers out there.

Awesome album... My favorite tracks are "Grew Up A Screw Up", "Girls Gone Wild", & "Woozy". The album is FIRE.

I'm really dissapointed in this album. It's more street than any of his others so alot of people will Like it. Its his weakest effort IMO.

IMO, he has a bunch of good singles, but has never really released a solid collection of songs. I don't think I'm gonna bother picking this up.

^ - You must not have heard Chicken-N-Beer. And Back For the First Time, Word of Mouf, & Red Light DistrictEvery one of Ludacris' albums are very strong, and this is no different. His first sold 3.1, his second sold 3.6, his third 2.6, and his fourth 2.4. You don't put up those kind of numbers with weak albums. Especially when your songs don't really chart that high (with the exception of "Stand Up").

I'm really dissapointed in this album. It's more street than any of his others so alot of people will Like it. Its his weakest effort IMO. I'm not sure how old you are, if your even old enough to recall Back for the First Time/Incognegro or Word of Mouf, but Ludacris used to be one of the streetest rappers around in the sense. After Stand Up! and Yeah!, he pretty much records for pop and urban. There are maybe 3/15 street records on Release Therapy. When your singles go from "All my Playaz in da house that can buy da bar to dem ballin ass ***I'M RACIST***s with the candy cars, if you a pimp and u know that u dont love dem hoes, when u get on da floor, ***I'M RACIST*** throw dem bows." to "Shake your money maker like somebody bout to pay ya." If ANYTHING, Release Therapy is the LEAST street effort on Ludacris' part. And if you honestly think this is a bad album, maybe you need to take another careful listen. And...as Ludacris once said, "It takes the slower minds a little longer to process." [glow=brown,2,300]GO GET RELEASE THERAPY! 9-26 IN STORES!![/glow]

Woozy is dope...but I have to listen to it more - it's kind of ... weird - I dunno .... I totally agree. Thats exactly what I thought when I listened to it. Almost like the more you listen, the better it becomes. It's a very interesting song.

Nah, I disagree: The singles are what promote the album. Most people have no idea what's on a CD apart from what they hear on the radio. I mean, how many terrible albums have gone platinum on the strength of a couple singles? For the most part, I don't think you can use sales to assess the quality of an album. Don't get me wrong: I think Ludacris has the best flow of any rapper in the game right now. I can count on one hand the number of times he's dropped a less-than-excellent verse anywhere...Even his mediocre songs are fun to listen to just because of his flow (i.e., "Number One Spot"). But I think the beats and arrangements are lacking on many of his album tracks.

But I think the beats and arrangements are lacking on many of his album tracks. I get what your saying, but neither of Back for the First Time's singles went Top 20, and he sold 3.1 million. On the other hand, Chicken & Beer's first two singles went to #1 and #6, and only ended up selling 2.6 milion. These albums have to have something to them than just a couple of good songs. Don't you think people would've caught on by now? Ludacris is known for having excellent guest spots on songs, and it just seems people think thats all he's good for. He's a hell of a rapper, and can make good songs all by himself. People need to realize this. If you doubt this, please go over to the leak on MTV right now to listen to this entire album.

HITS:
The renaissance man known as Luda, Dirty South rapper Ludacris’ Release Therapy is offering just that to shop owners nationwide with a 290-310k total, which will put him in the running for #1 if Janet’s totals begin to fall off, and a certain #2.

With the exception of Em and maybe 50 and Jay - I don't think any rapper can move more albums as consistently as Luda...he is really underrated in my opinion.

'Fred Claus' Sparks Ludacris CastingRapper will play an angry elf October 5, 2006 Rapper Chris Bridges, who has taught an entire generation to misspell the word "ludicrous," is getting into the Christmas sprit for the Warner Bros. comedy "Fred Claus." The "Crash" co-star best known as Ludacris will play an angry elf in "Fred Claus," which reteams "Wedding Crashers" director David Dobkin and star Vince Vaughn. Paul Giamatti, Kevin Spacey and Elizabeth Banks will also appear in the film, which focuses on Santa's loser brother who returns to the North Pole and nearly spoils Christmas, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The casting news caps a productive week for Ludacris, whose latest CD "Release Therapy" sits atop the Billboard album charts with sales of just under 310,000 units. In addition to his "Crash" work, which won a Screen Actors Guild ensemble prize earlier this year, Ludacris' acting credits include "Hustle & Flow," as well as an appearance on NBC's "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit."

I don't think Ludacris is underrated either. He's probably the most sought-after rapper of the 21st century in the league with Jay-Z and Kanye West. Check songs of the last few years with a rapper's collaboration that has gone top ten and Ludacris will probably be attached to it. He has one of the sickest flows ever. The persona he's created along with his beats makes him unmatchable in the rap game. Concerning folks saying he isn't street, all you have to do is listen to his first CD and you can hear it on there. Plus, the ones after that ain't been a joke either. I think that he has had some good CDs including 2001's Word of Mouf and 2003' Chicken & Beer.
