Feb 15, 1:18 PM EST Paris Hilton Star Guest at Vienna Ball
VIENNA, Austria (AP) -- Hundreds of shrieking, frenzied fans welcomed Paris Hilton as she made an appearance at a Vienna mall Thursday to sign autographs.
"Hello everybody, it's so good to see you," the 25-year-old hotel heiress/reality TV star cooed as the crowd went crazy. "Happy late Valentine's Day!"
The session was cut short when several objects landed on the stage and Hilton was whisked away by security guards.
Richard Lugner, who is Hilton's Vienna host, said the flying objects included cigarette packs, tissues and lipsticks. The 74-year-old married construction magnate invites a celebrity to the city's prestigious Opera Ball each year. His previous guests include Geri Halliwell, Pamela Anderson and Carmen Electra.
The Austria Press Agency reported that sheets of paper that floated onto the stage were fliers from a communist youth organization.
Hilton later dismissed the incident as "no big deal" and said she loved her fans, APA reported.
She ran into a problem in Munich, Germany, on Wednesday because her passport had expired. Susan McCaw, U.S. ambassador to Austria, had to vouch for her so she could enter the country, APA said.
When asked what happened, Hilton replied: "Oh nothing, just my passport."
Taking questions from some 100 reporters earlier, Hilton said she "loved" classical music and that she grew up listening to it.
"As a little girl, it really helped me fall asleep at night," she said, adding later that she "really loved" old Michael Jackson songs, Madonna and hip-hop.
Hilton said there were "a lot of people who need help" in the world and that she planned to go to Africa sometime this year.
"As a celebrity, you can really make people aware of what's going on in the world," she said.
The Opera Ball, which was to be held Thursday night, draws about 4,500 well-heeled Austrian and foreign celebrities, dignitaries and socialites. Tickets often sell out months in advance.
(UPDATES with reaction from Hilton to mall incident, corrects Hilton quote about passport.)

Calling all Men of Steel, heiress in distress! Paris Hilton makes a casual fashion statement - or, is that a cry for help? - as she leaves a Hollywood studio on Tuesday. Perhaps Hilton will get her superhero wish when she celebrates her 26th birthday on Saturday.

People think she is dumb, and she does come off as dumb, but she is fuckin clever! You have to give her that. Especially the one episode in season 4 where she irons a meal! LMAO! She wanted to save time doing the chores and the irons were hot so she threw some bacon on one iron and picked up the other one and cooked it! It was freakin funny! I love it!

Feb 16, 9:04 AM EST Paris Hilton Looks Bored at Vienna Ball
VIENNA, Austria (AP) -- She could have danced all night. Instead, she stifled yawns.
Hotel heiress/reality TV star Paris Hilton certainly didn't look like she was having a ball Thursday night at the Vienna Opera Ball, Austria's society event of the year.
Live TV coverage repeatedly showed her looking bored as she sat in her luxury box at the State Opera House.
As debutantes in white dresses and their escorts in black tuxedos and tails marched into the ornate ballroom, Hilton was seen resting her head in her hands, absentmindedly flipping through the program and fiddling with her mobile phone.
"Look how excited she is," deadpanned a commentator for public television station ORF, which broadcast the ball live.
Hilton was the guest of Richard Lugner, a 74-year-old married construction magnate who invites a celebrity each year. His previous guests have included Geri Halliwell, Pamela Anderson and Carmen Electra.
The annual Opera Ball draws about 4,500 well-heeled Austrian and foreign celebrities, dignitaries and socialites. Tickets often sell out months in advance.
On Friday, Hilton was heading to the Tyrolean ski resort of Ischgl to celebrate her 26th birthday. Her birthday is Saturday.
The festivities in Ischgl included a Paris Hilton look-a-like contest and the "Paris Life Show" - photos of her growing up. Hilton planned to shed a white coat to symbolize the passing of another year, organizers said.

To be honest...Scott Storch isn't all that...I mean, the songs he produces are pretty good..but other producers can do better.

Is he her human ski lift? As cameras roll, Paris Hilton looks ready to be carried down the slopes after zipping through the Alps in Ischgl, Austria, on Friday. The heiress has been enjoying a week-long European vacation, where she was the guest of honor at the Vienna Opera Ball.

I like NITW and Jealousy the best on her album...it could've done well because a lot of the songs were single-worhty but...she wouldn't perform live and if you can't support yourself that way by not even lip-syncing, that is kind of ridiculous...

Las Vegas Paris Hilton gets her 26th birthday party off to a groovin' start with on-again boyfriend Stavros Niarchos at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino's Body English nightclub on Saturday. Later, the heiress and her posse (including little sis Nicky and her beau David Katzenberg) took the festivities from the dance floor to the bowling alley.

How can you be a fan of both Paris and P!nk ???. When P!nk is making fun of Paris and saying she's a bad rolemodel....mmmm.....strange. When is Paris going to proof that she can sing....I mean when is she doing a LIVE preformance?

Just because you are a fan of someone doesn't mean you have to agree with everything they say. I am a fan of both Paris & Pink, but unlike Pink, I think Paris is a great rolemodel. And if Paris thinks Pink is stupid (she hasn't ever said that, just giving an example), then I disagree with Paris, because I think Pink is awesome.

Feb 28, 7:26 AM EST Paris Hilton Cited for Suspended License
WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (AP) -- Paris Hilton was cited for driving on a suspended license after police stopped her for speeding and driving without her headlights on late Tuesday, authorities said.
The hotel heiress and star of "The Simple Life" was pulled over on Sunset Boulevard in her blue Bentley Continental GTC at 11 p.m., said Sgt. Duane Allen Jr. of the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department.
She was on her way home from buying DVDs at Virgin Megastore in West Hollywood after spending the day at home for a photo shoot, her publicist Elliot Mintz said.
Hilton was issued a ticket for driving on a suspended license, a misdemeanor, and released. A court date was not immediately set.
Hilton was alone and there was no sign of drinking or drugs, Allen said.
Mintz said Hilton didn't realize the car's headlights weren't on because she had just left a parking structure that was brightly lit. She was told by police she was stopped for not having the headlights turned on. Speeding was not mentioned, Mintz said.
"When she called me, she asked if her license was suspended," Mintz said early Wednesday. "If that's the case, she and I are unaware of it."
The 26-year-old starlet was picked up by a friend and taken home after the incident. Her car was impounded.
In January, Hilton pleaded no contest to alcohol-related reckless driving stemming from her Sept. 7 arrest in Hollywood and was sentenced to 36 months probation, alcohol education and $1,500 in fines. That case was reduced from an original charge of driving under the influence.

It's been a roller-coaster week! After multiple birthday celebrations, Paris Hilton's fun ride comes to a sudden halt in Los Angeles on Tuesday. The heiress was reportedly pulled over for speeding, cited for driving without a license and had her Bentley towed.

At the Midwest Beauty Show in Chicago on March 4, Paris Hilton went long to promote her new line of hair extensions. Beginner's luck or card shark? Paris Hilton wins big at the World Poker Tour Celebrity Invitational charity event in Commerce, Calif., on Saturday. When the dealer pushed the winnings in her direction, the heiress responded, "I won?"

So I'm guessing there isn't gonna be another single from "Paris." Is she recording another album?

I doubt she will. She doesn't really seem interested in the music career anymore. I'm just glad we at least got ONE album from her... since she was working on it for so long. So glad "Screwed" finally saw the light of day!
