She said she might go back in the studio but never mentioned for what right? The inner dreamer in me hopes that she's going back to record a few new hot songs. lol

She should try and just re-release this with another Babyface collabo and the other leftover Danja tracks and release Everywhere I Go to help take it off. Release it during the November timeframe so she can grab Black Friday (pricing the album at 5.99) than the Christmas weeks up ahead.

Yall are getting me excited! Even though it's highly unlikely, a rerelease would make me tinkle my pants with excitement. a Hot Nu cover, Hot Nu songs (and hopefully some more hot pics in the booklet), perfect package! DVD with music videos? LOVIN IT!

I hope we get a re-release, she still has about 3 single material and potential hit songs.

Is it just me, or does every song from that video (excluding Love Story) sound better on that video than it does on the album?

Are we going to get another single from this era or are RCA going to be b!tches and just leave this album to fall down the charts?

Yeah releasing a single sometime in October and then re-releasing on Black Friday would be the smart thing to do...

"Everywhere I Go" is the best song she's ever recorded. (And I say that without hearing the unreleased tracks.)

This will be McPhee’s studio acting debut for Columbia Pictures and Happy Madison. She will be playing a pregnant hippy in the Fred Wolf-directed comedy.
In the near future, Kat, 23, will also be starring in The Last Caller, a dark romantic-comedy indie. Katharine McPhee Fitted for Nicole Kidman's Baby Bump THURSDAY AUGUST 09, 2007 02:00 PM EDT By Jeffrey Slonim People Magazine Call it the battle of the bumps: For pregnant roles in upcoming films, Katharine McPhee and Debra Messing will both don faux bellies, but only one will be brand new. Messing insists she has been fitted with an original bump, but McPhee happily told PEOPLE that for Adam Sandler's House Buddies she will wear a Nicole Kidman hand-me-down. "I tried on [ Knocked Up star] Katherine Heigl's belly. I tried on Nicole Kidman's belly. And they said, 'Oh, this one fits perfectly. We don't need to try any more.' I was so happy, because I didn't have to sit through hours of prosthetic fitting," the Idol runner up explained at the Wildlife Rescue Center of the Hamptons Benefit. "There was nothing wrong with Katherine Heigl's belly," continued McPhee. "But every stomach is different. It's light foam, but it makes you sweat. Hiegl's felt funny on my stomach and sat higher. [In this project], I'm in my ninth month, so I should be hanging kind of low." Dispelling any possible pregnancy rumors, McPhee was enjoying a glass of red wine and the company of her boyfriend, Nick Cokas, 42. "In Stuff magazine, they said I want to have 15 kids." She added, "I was obviously exaggerating." Meanwhile, Messing is set to star in a new version of Claire Boothe Luce's The Women from Mick Jagger's production company. PEOPLE caught up with the actress at an Agas & Tamar jewelry event in Manhattan. "I play Edie Rosenberg, the woman who has the kids, perpetually pregnant, the earth mother. And, yes, I have to wear a pregnancy pad," Messing said. "But I understand that mine was being custom-made ... especially to fit me." Messing begins shooting in three weeks, and when asked if she thought she'd get to meet Mick Jagger, she answered, "probably at the premiere."

maybe this TRL week has helped her slightly? her album is still lingering, sitting at #60 on itunes pop albums. this is the highest it has been in months, i think.

Didn't "The Today Show" bump her up to like #49 on iTunes Pop Albums?

i dont recall her being on the today show recently, however when she did the Early Show i believe she wasn't even on the pop 100 albums, and it pushed her to around #70. (i think)

I think the buzz from the movies is helping...or Over It is still carrying the album because the rank of video and song both moved up for OI...

Love Story DID do something. It gave us her finest performance ever AND it showed how much she has grown as an artist. If all Love Story ever does is give us the great video and her Leno performance, in my mind it was a complete success. I have said this before but I have never been more certain about her future success than I am right now and Love Story gave me that with those 2 things alone.

I have said this before but I have never been more certain about her future success than I am right now and Love Story gave me that with those 2 things alone. not as artist, but as a performer. No I chose the word artist for a reason. Performance is part of her art. Dancing is part of her art. And the confidence that these past few months have given her on stage has most definitely grown her as an artist. We saw that in both the video and the Leno performance. One of the main complaints about Kat and her CD was she did not know who she was as an artist yet and that was probably true. But from what I have seen from these 2 things alone is that she has a much more clear vision of who Katharine McPhee the artist truly is. The fact that she performed SOTR again acapella in St Louis shows that she is more confident in who she is as an artist now and is no longer afraid that she will be limited to that image anymore. She embraced it because she knows now that she is so much more than just the SOTR girl. She has grown as a performer, as a dancer, and as a person and all of that most definitely has grown her as an artist. Love Story may not have been a great radio song but it is a great performance song and that is what Kat the artist needed at this point in her career so to me it has been a complete and total success.

She's a really good dancer. They were smart to have her dance in the video rather than have some storyline stuff.

Yeah...she was always a good performer...even on Idol with the Black Horse choreography...that's where she shines I think.
Next time...she needs more dance music...to do breakdowns...
