The album's brilliant. Still has its uneven moments (the James Cagney vibe of Who Killed It? is laughable), but overall Nasir's spitting fire on every track. I love it.

Rapper Nas and wife Kelis glam up to celebrate his new album, Hip Hop Is Dead, at a dinner hosted by Hennessy Paradis at New York City club Gin Lane on Monday.

LOL. I'm listening to the track with Kanye and nas is all "echelon" but pronounces it eckelon. wtf mates. Unless I missed the joke, he pulled a hov-crazy-in-love.

I haven't picked this up yet, but I've liked some of what I've heard so far. It's gotta be better than "Kingdom Come".

I got it a few weeks ago and I'm really enjoying it so far. But then I usually like most of the stuff Nas puts out, so no surprise there.

Yea, this CD is hot. It is better than Kingdom Come in my opinion. It deserves to go multiplatinum.

Great CD, some of these songs are hot as hell. There are many old school tunes on this album, but it still sounds fresh.

I LOVE THE VIDEO and the song!
I never liked Nas that much, but his 2 singles have been hot.

I hope this can go platinum.
635 in 9 weeks is pretty decent. This single should take him close to 800 and then he can release one more than will make it plat.

She is a good singer. But I don't like her enough to buy an album.

^ yeah, I think it's going to be interesting to see if she "holds up" over the course of an entire cd. i think they can do it by sprinkling in guest spots.

For his Spring 2007 tour, Nas is focussing on clubs and small venues. (Why, Jay, why?) But you can expect to enjoy big hits like "Black Republicans" and "Can't Forget About You" (from Hip-Hop Is Dead) at this spring's club tour. To find out when Nasty Nas is coming to a city near you, see the Hip-Hop Is Dead Spring Tour Schedule below: April 2007 * 2nd - Cleveland, OH - House of Blues * 3rd - Baltimore, MD - Rams Head Tavern * 5th - Norfolk, VA - NorVa * 6th - Myrtle Beach, SC - House of Blues * 7th - Orlando, FL - House of Blues * 8th - Ft.
