She managed to find a label that has even less interest in it's artists than the one she left. Congrats Toni!

We don't want her getting in the bottom two again, especially since she's been like #2 or #3 in terms of the judges points.

Atlantic is slightly better than Blackground. She's needs a big comeback. There is still a lot of interest in her (successful vegas stint and now DWTS). I have no doubt the music will be great. I just hope they promote. In terms of music here's who I'd like her to work with: Babyface or Dianne Warren Ne-yo Rodney Jerkins (Darkchild) Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis and of course I'd like her to write and produce more.

Who ever she worked with on Shadowless, Stupid and Long Way Home, that's who I want to see her work again. That's exactly the sound I want to hear her developing more of. Midnite was also a jem!

I agree! Midnite, Shadowless, Stupid were awesome. Suddenly (German bonus) was also a great cut, as well as Take This Ring. Actually the only songs on that cd I do not like are What's Good and Finally. Not bad songs, but nothing special at all.

I loved most of Libra, especially "I Wanna Be (Your Baby)", "Please", "Trippin" and "Shadowless". Really good R&B album overall IMO.

Libra is great. 'Take This Ring', 'Please', 'Shadowless', 'Midnite', 'Sposed To Be', 'Stupid', 'What's Good', and 'Trippin' are all good songs.

Yeah, I didn't like it at first, but Libra is definitely a highlight in her catalog. It's the only album from her other than her debut that I can listen to all the way through.

Libra is my third favorite album by Toni behind her debut and Secrets. It's incredibly solid. They messed up with the singles. "Take This Ring" and "Sposed To Be" should have been the singles.

Heartache would work better as a title although I find it to be a bit generic.

What's Good and Finally were harmless filler on an album where every other song was quality.

How do you all like her More Than A Woman CD? It's not bad. I don't like LMSYTWO and GIB. I love Selfish, Rock me-Roll me, Lies, and Do you Remember When. That Album could have easily done well, but I remember they stop promotion before HTF took off because she was pregnant.

I liked that album. It's a shame she 'denounces' it from her catalog and doesn't perform any songs off it live.
My favorites were "Always", "Selfish", "Rock Me, Roll Me", "Lies Lies Lies", "And I Love You", "Hit The Freeway", and "A Better Man"

That's a shame because Libra is an outstanding album! I really want to hear her sing "Stupid" and "Midnite" live!

More Than A Woman is easily the worst album in her catalog for me. The uptempos were major missteps, and none of the slow jams really stand out. They're just background music. That album killed her career. No one wanted to hear her doing faceless hip-hop songs, and she didn't even have a classic Toni ballad to send out after "Hit The Freeway" bombed.

I think More Than A Woman was a solid record. I still think it would have been more successful had her label bothered to promote it in spite of her pregnancy.

^ No more Please live. :( :( I didn't fully love "Please" until I had heard her perform it live during the LIBRA tour. I think More Than A Woman was a solid record. I still think it would have been more successful had her label bothered to promote it in spite of her pregnancy. Yeah, I agree. "Lies Lies Lies" was all ready to go too (dance remix, video and all).

The album is due out in January. That's the worst month to release CDs because people don't spend after the holidays, and now we're in a recession on top of that. I guess they think she'll get a #1 album since no one releases albums in January.
