I dont think i heart You is her chasing a trend. it doesnt sound like anything anyone else is doing. It sounds very out of touch with the industry as a whole. Its literally a Donna Summer's disco record for 2012. that certainly isnt the sound on the pop charts.

I'm curious, has she ever performed anything off More Than a Woman live? I know around the time it was released she got pregnant, so the only promo for it was the two videos (Hit the Freeway and Baby, You Can Do It) and that VH1 documentary (Inside)Out.

There was an MTV Making the Video episode for Hit The Freeway. I remember the tag line from the promo: "Toni's back and she's angry!"
I wish there was still a strong sales component at the time. I feel like a lot of hits were misses because radio was the only way to get major exposure from 2002-2005.

From Libra I think "Stupid", "Take This Ring", and "Please" would translate well live. The clubs in used to JAM to that well before the album was released.

If I were someone paying to see her live, I'd want to hear the hits not random album tracks from her flop albums. She has plenty of hits.

I think all artists that have die hard supporters should do some of the fan favorite album cuts along with the hits. More Than A Woman and Libra are both Gold albums so its not like no1 is familiar with them.
When I saw her live in Vegas I was upset she didnt perform How Many Ways or Just Be A man About it. PISSED!!

I don't go to concerts just for hits because most artist's album tracks are better than any hit they ever released.

When I saw Toni during the Libra era, she did pretty much the entire album except Midnite (one of my favorites) and Finally I think. Nothing from More Than A Woman though.
As much as I love everything on Libra, I was totally fine with her skipping it. A song from the album and something from More Than A Woman would've been nice this weekend... but honestly I would've totally preferred that she do Hands Tied.
