Mel C has been doing great w/her album. While her album did bad in the UK its doing fantastic in the rest of Europe or at least most of it. The album spents weeks at #1 in Germany and the single had so much life there. The album is currently #1 in Portugal and has been #1 there for a while same w/Spain,Sweden, Austria, where the album also did great.

I've actually been a huge fan of Emma's solo work...her last 2 albums were huge guilty pleasures of mine. Can't wait for her next one!
Mel C's latest release was actually pretty good too...haven't heard from the other 3 though (better for Mel B anyways...her last album did HOOOORRRIBBBLLYY)

Geri's Passion was an amazing album, her voice really is amazing on that record. Northern Star remains the best solo spice project.
I love emma's stuff not a fan of the others solo.
But I'd love a reunion.
Viva Forever was number 1 in the U.K and is their most artistic and critically acclaimed song. It's a masterpiece.

The Spice Girls were my heroes when I was little! I did have all of their CDs but I lost 'em... so I'm ready for a greatest hits!!! "2 Become 1" and "Stop" were their best songs.

^You don't have Mel's 2nd CD, Reason? lol I LOVE THAT CD!!! Mel C is too busy for this crap. She's realeasing a new CD this year along with just releasing 2 singles. One for the UK Charts a cover of the song "I Want Candy" for a motion picture titled "I Want Candy"... and her 1st single off her 4th solo album and the 2nd off her record lable "Red Girl Records" a song being released to most of Europe a beautiful ballad called "The Moment You Beleive"... HER BEST single YET!!! www.youtube.com/watch?v=5_3BbuHVbVwAMAZING!

Just 'cause it didn't do bad in America doesn't mea it floppped. Silly rabbit, trix are for kids. You should know that being a fan of Nelly F.
Mel's debut sold 3 million WW, and her 2 after that have sold around 800K combined, all 3 going to #1 in multipul contries... I don't see how that is a flop? I'm sure her latest album will push her solo #'s over 4 million... maybe around 4.5 million if she's lucky.
Plus, she's always stated that Spice Girls is not in her future. With her lable she wants to do many diffrent albums, more rock, she also wants to do a acoustic album and a Jazz album. So if the Spice Girls do come back it's a 99% sure chance Mel C wont be a part of it, unless she's desperate for some cash.

geri's solo career in a way did the best.
schizophonic sold 1.5 million worldwide, spawned 3 number 1's including " Mi Chico Latino" which is a classic.
scream if you wanna go faster spawned the number 1 its raining men
passion didn't do well.

O M G! I haven't logged in here for like ever but as soon as I saw this post I signed in ASAP! I have everything you can think of, of the spice girls. I was such a huge fan. I saw then both shows in NY (Jones Beach, Madison Square Garden). I have 2 of there doll collections the originals and the "On Tour" ones. I have a diary, stickers, hundreds of there lollipops that came with stickers (my friends and I used to buy entire boxes of them at a time) I only actually have 1 lollipop left but I have all the wrappers and stickers, I have a brush, comb and mirror set, I have 2 t-shirts from there world tour, all the cd's, I saw Melanie C in concert twice in NY at Irving Plaza and was front row the second time when melanie c was REALLY FAT after she overcame her eating disorder. I also saw Melanie B in rent and then the following year when I was in LA, I sat next to her at a John Kerry Movie Screening with Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston also in attendance where I then went with her (some of my friends in LA are friendly with her or were) to this gay club called Mickey's or something like that. She struck me as lesbo at that time but who knows and wow I just rambled on about the spice girls...sorry I got excited. I was a huge fan from 12-17.

FAMETASTIC UKEmma Bunton: we’ve not stopped smiling since I got pregnant Monday February 19th, 2007 at 11:17 am Emma Bunton has revealed she and partner Jade Jones are absolutely delighted that she’s pregnant with their first child - but they’re not going to rush to get married before the baby arrives in the summer. Emma told the Sun recently regarding her pregnancy: “Jade’s been amazing. We haven’t stopped smiling since we found out. It’s been such an amazing start to the new year.” “It’s so new and so exciting. My mum was over the moon. I’m 31 now and I’ve talked a lot in the past about how much I wanted to start a family, so everyone is really pleased.” “I would love Jade to propose, but it’s not going to happen yet. We have talked about marriage, but Jade and I are taking each day as it comes at the moment.” “There is obviously a lot to get together. I want a very intimate, private thing - and it’s just about finding the time to plan things. And I’m not very good at that!” Congrats, Emma!

DOTMUSICSpice Girls reunion imminent?[/size] Fri Feb 16, 6:00 AM ET The Spice Girls are on the brink of confirming plans to reform, it has been claimed. After months of speculation, it has been reported that the pop group has agreed to the reunion, after watching the runaway comeback success of fellow British popsters Take That. Mel B (Scary Spice), Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice), Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice), and Mel C (Sporty Spice) are apparently "good friends" now and are seeking $5 million each to agree to play together again. There is no word on whether Emma Bunton (Baby Spice), who is pregnant at the moment, would participate. Reports emerging today claim that an autumn reunion tour would also feature retired boy band Boyzone. "They are really keen to do it if there is a charity angle," a source revealed. "They are talking about doing it for Bono's [RED] campaign. It's been on the cards for a while, at least a couple of months. They are all good friends now." The Spice Girls split up in 2000 following the release of their final album, Forever.

Mel C Rules Out Spice Girls Reunion – For Now THURSDAY MARCH 22, 2007 09:10 AM EST By Carolina Escalera Former Spice Girl Melanie Chisholm is denying recent rumors that the group is planning a reunion - but she doesn't rule it out for the future. "There are no plans for it at all with or without me," Chisholm, 33, told PEOPLE Wednesday at a party for the movie I Want Candy in London. "Obviously, two of the girls [Emma "Baby Spice" Bunton and Melanie "Scary Spice" Brown] are pregnant at the moment. "We have discussed that if there was a fantastic event that we felt would benefit from the attention would bring, we would consider that as a one-up, but there is no time this year as everyone is very busy with personal or professional things."
Chisholm told reporters there's no consensus among the ex-Spices over whether to reunite: "It's not all me - I've spoken to the other girls and one of them thinks it's great but the others don't think it's a good idea."
The former Sporty Spice recorded her own version of Bow Wow Wow's "I Want Candy" for the soundtrack to the movie of the same name, which stars Carmen Electra. She is also releasing her fourth solo album, This Time, in the UK on April 2.
She's also thrilled for her former bandmates. Of her close pal, Bunton, who announced her pregnancy in January, Chisholm told PEOPLE: "I saw Emma recently and she looked fantastic. It's a very exciting time for all of my former colleagues."
That includes Victoria Beckham (Chisholm snapped to a reporter who referred to her as Posh: "Her name is Victoria, by the way"), who is planning a move to Los Angeles.
"I haven't spoken to Victoria for a while, but I am sure it is going to be a great move," Chisholm said. "It is a wonderful place, especially for kids, great weather and lots to do."

Thank you oscillations, i thought there was one. :)
So, now it's most likely on with Melanie C's involvement. As i said in the copy thread, i hope their Greatest Hits includes the B-Sides.

WASHINGTON POSTSpice Girls Set Date to Reveal PlansThe Associated Press Friday, June 22, 2007; 11:58 AM LONDON -- Talk of a Spice Girls reunion has swirled for weeks _ boosted by Sporty Spice herself _ and on Friday the vivacious five said they would make "an announcement to the world" next week. Gossip took a major leap, and suddenly old film clips of the 1990s pop sensations were all over British television. A Feb 24, 1997 photo from files showing the Spice Girls performing at the Brit Awards in London. It was announced by their management company Friday June 22, 2007 that an official announcement about their 'future plans' will be made next Thursday, June 28. The statement issued by the quintet's management company seemed designed to move the rumors up a notch and stretch them out for a good week. "Following weeks of speculation, the Spice Girls are set to make an official announcement to the world regarding future plans on Thursday, June 28," said the statement from 19 Entertainment. "Details regarding the announcement will be released in the coming days." Victoria (Adams) Beckham (Posh Spice), Melanie Chisholm (Sporty Spice), Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice), Emma Bunton (Baby Spice) and Melanie Brown (Scary Spice) formed the Spice Girls in 1994. They became a global hit before splitting in 2001. Chisholm, who had opposed a reunion, recently told the British Broadcasting Corp. she had changed her mind. "For the first time ever, there is some truth in the rumors. We've been discussing it and it could possibly happen," the 33-year-old singer told BBC radio last week. "I've always said, `I don't want to do it, the past is the past. It was amazing, it was magical. We could never recreate it,'" Chisholm said. "But this year people have been talking about it and some of the girls have expressed an interest in doing it." The Spice Girls' 2000 album, "Forever," had weak sales, and they began concentrating on their solo careers.

Let them reunite as planned with few new singles and let rocks fall where may, enough talk just do the shows and tracks already. I am sure they can still squeeze out one more top 40 with some of old team had them with for songs and maybe some current to.
