Wow. These pictures look pretty good. Just the way she should be marketed, mature yet sexy.

The cover is very elegant. The track list doesn't excite me very much.

article that mentions Latoya and peak records . the.honoluluadvertiser.com/article/...0/en/en05a.htmlQ. Peak Records, the label you co-founded in 1994, has had its share of notable jazz signings. Among them Lee Ritenour, David Benoit, Gerald Albright, Regina Belle, Eric Marienthal and Paul Taylor. More recently, Peak signed "American Idol" finalist LaToya London. How'd that happen? A. She was working very closely with Peak co-owner Andy Howard. He had some great discussions with her. And I think she felt that creatively Peak would be a good place for her. And it was a wise decision because ... probably one of the strongest things, I feel, about the label and kind of our mission statement for founding it was that we wanted a place where artists would feel comfortable creatively. (London's CD) is just about finished. I can't tell you much about it yet, but it should be coming out very soon. She's a great vocalist. A very personal vocalist. (We) love her.

an official press release on Latoya's upcoming releases. Press Release Source: Concord Records LaToya London Set to Release Much Anticipated Debut CD `Love & Life' in Stores Sept. 20 Monday June 13, 10:00 am ET Explosive First Single, `Appreciate,' Features Black Thought From `The Roots' LaToya's Web Site Offers Chance to Win Trip to London, England LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 13, 2005--With her stunning voice and illuminating beauty, songstress LaToya London (www.LatoyaLondon.com) captivated audiences across the country when she delivered show-stopping performances week-after-week on the 2004 season of the hit TV show "American Idol." Now, for her millions of loyal fans, the long wait for the singer's debut CD is finally over. LaToya will release "Love & Life," a collection of 14 songs that touches the worlds of pop, urban, and hip-hop, on Sept. 20. Source: Concord Records · View multimedia news release Proving that's she's as smart as she is talented, London co-wrote several songs on the CD, including the album's explosive first single "Appreciate." A hip-hop ode to the opposite sex, this youthful, cross-over bound track features the rap talent of Black Thought from "The Roots." The single is in stores this August. One listen to the amazing breadth "Love & Life" reveals a remarkably assured new artist who has only begun to show the world what she is made of. Given LaToya's powerful and stunning vocal talent, the debut is loaded with love songs ("Every Part of Me," "State of My Heart," "Meet Me Halfway," and more) written and produced by industry powerhouses like Narada Michael Walden (Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey), Barry J. Eastmond (Aretha Franklin and Anita Baker) and David Foster (Barbra Streisand and Quincy Jones). With "Love & Life," however, LaToya sets out to prove that she is more than just a master of delivering show-stopping ballads. Along with the album's first single, the CD features the hip hop-spiked, "None-a-Whatcha-Do (Bling)," and the steamy, eye-brow-raising "Scandalous." For the super-spicy "Anything," LaToya runs down a list of things she will do for her man to keep him faithful -- over a seductive sound bed dripping in deep bass, jazzy electric piano, and teasing guitar licks -- that is earlobe-scorching. To celebrate the release of "Love & Life," one lucky LaToya London fan will have the opportunity to win a 4-day trip to London, England. To enter the contest, simply log on to www.LatoyaLondon.com. "Love & Life" is the culmination of a nearly two-year journey for London that began when she auditioned for "American Idol" just after the passing of her father in 2002. Since winning the heart of America, she has been in much demand, touring and making appearances across the U.S. Earlier this year, she performed at the Commissioner's Ball on the eve of SuperBowl XXXIX, and in June, she takes to the stage at the Vibe Music Conference in Atlanta. LaToya has also been back on television, performing on "Soul Train" and acting as the "American Idol" special correspondent for E! Entertainment. She even journeyed to Alabama to interview friends, family and supporters of Bo Brice on the nail-biting finale of this year's "American Idol." The Black Thought remix of Appreciate has been up on her site for a week or so now... I finally got it to work... it sounds good. I'm not sure how this'll perform though.

LOL The album credits leaked and now I know why I preferred two of the clips way above the others. Barry Eastmond produced them and he produces most of Anita Baker's material. I'm interested in hearing her Urban AC release "Every Part Of Me". Narada Michael Walden did that one. I haven't been blown away by the songs he did that I've heard, and I really haven't liked anything he's done in over a decade, but I'm always open to something from him because he was a great one at his prime.

She is seriously blessed to have the writers and producers that came along to assist her with this debut album. I'm going to buy her album just because of that.
There's also a bonus track titled "If You Were Mine". It was written by Narada Michael Walden and Jeffrey Cohen and produced by Narada Michael Walden.

Okay I love all the ballads now even though I hated the vocal production at first. Maybe it's because I associate her voice with the show too much or maybe the reverb just sounds bad because they're low quality streams. Urban AC needs Latoya London.

Did the entire album leak or something? Are you talking about full clips or are these just the snippets on the members only site?

Looks like "Every Part of Me" is going for adds on Urban AC next week. When does "Appreciate" hit the other formats?
