Paris Hilton Dreams of a White Wedding By Karla Adam
Originally posted Friday May 16, 2008 09:00 AM EDT
They've been dating for less than three months, but Paris Hilton and Benji Madden already have marriage in mind.
"He wants to [get hitched]," she told PEOPLE Thursday night at London's Nobu, where she showed up for a late-night snack with Madden and her parents. "We talk about it."
In fact, she's already pondering her gown: "I'd wear a beautiful white dress," she said dreamily, "probably Dolce & Gabbana."
The heiress, who is in town promoting her new fragrance, Can Can, couldn't stop gushing about her new beau.
"We are the perfect match," said the 27-year-old (who begins filming her MTV reality show, I Wanna Be Paris's New Best Friend! on Monday). "We don't like being apart, we like to stay with each other as much as we can."
No stranger to marriage proposals, Hilton said that Madden, 29, was different from her previous boyfriends, including ex-fiancés Jason Shaw and Paris Latsis.
"[Benji] is very down to earth," she said. "He's worked very hard on his own. He really has a heart of gold. He'd never do anything to hurt me. He loves and supports me no matter what. He's a really great person."

There is no new album... if Paris says she's "been in the studio".. that means she's done probably 2 songs in the past year. Her work ethic isn't very strong when it comes to music.

I'm not being negative, I was a HUGE fan of her music, I started a Yahoo! group years back dedicated to her music career... but come on! Her last album didn't do too well, she didn't give two sh*ts about promotion (no performances, appearances, etc).
I think she's tried the music thing, and I really don't think there'll be another release. She could've made "Paris" into a big album, it had really good songs and excellent reviews from pop critics, but face it, she put NO EFFORT into getting it out there.

When Paris was recording her last album, most of the sessions were under her OWN money becuase she did not have a record label for most of the recording. From my knowledge, she signed/finalized the deal in 2006, the year the album released, the only sessions given under the labels money were "Turn It Up", "Turn You On", "Heartbeat", "Nothing in This World", and "Stars Are Blind". From what I've heard, the rest and all unreleased tracks are ones not financed by the label...
Now that she has a major recording contract she has no choice but to release the album, and release it at a time that is the labels decision. She obviously cares about her music, or she wouldn't have payed the cash to record, nor would she have taken singing lessons or be starring in "Repo! The Genetic Opera".
And btw, her last album was promoted by her label, the money given was only used for international purposes. Warner wanted the album to sell based on her name.

I don't think she gives a damn about her music. When she did house of wax she said it was her dream to be an actor and its all she ever wanted to do, then she said the exact same thing when she released her album. She's full of it. I loved her album and wish she would do anoher one, but I doubt it. 'Paris' was a flop and only sold because of peoples curiosity, Paris still gets a lot of press but she isn't as big as she was when the album came out. She can't sing live or perform or anything.
I'm not being a hater, I'm not someone who hates pop artists or models whatever doing music, but paris cant do anything musically, and when interviewers would ask her about the album and if she was going to tour etc she would blatantly lie and go "Well people don't know me and people don't know I can sing but I'll show them when I do my tour, we're gonna try tour overseas as well, it'll have dancers, i'll be dancing and singing live". etc etc etc.
She's full of it. Maybe she'll get one more album because she's with Benji but I dont think shes that fussed, her movie career is pretty much over and another album won't sell well. I'd say she is going to start focusing on her tabloid career again, probably get pregnant so she can sell the baby pics and wedding photos. Then she'll probably do a maternity line. Don't see another album.

I'd say she is going to start focusing on her tabloid career again, probably get pregnant so she can sell the baby pics and wedding photos. Then she'll probably do a maternity line. Don't see another album. That comment was simply full of speculation. Yes, Paris promised us a tour, but of course all that was planned before the softer than expected sales of the album in the USA. The album did great worlwide with 700K sold. But only 160,000 in the USA. We can blame that on people not taking her seriously, or on the little promotion given in the USA. But you can't say she doesn't care about her music when she isn't the one to set up promo or performing spots. WB Records expected it to sell off her name, with little money being invested, Paris payed for most of the recording of this album herself. Now if that's not caring, then I don't know what is to tell you the truth. We know she can sing live, we've seen and heard her raw in the recording studio. So theres no doubt there. She will have to put out a new album because she has a major recording contract fyi. Now onto the news! REPO! The Genetic Opera is getting released next month!Confirmed by director Darren Bouseman in a new blog post! 1. The promotion for the film begins early July with a new and improved site! www.repo-opera.com/2. The offiicial date will be announced in July. 3. Some new songs will be released for promo next month! (hopefully some of Paris' songs!) 4. The movie will premiere at Fantasia Film Festival in Montreal in July at Concordia University!

Sing live? You are joking right? If you're referring to her 10 second clip of "She sits alone, waitin for suggestions..." that was pretty bad. She can't sing. Not that I care if she can sing or not, it doesn't affect how I buy my records, I know heaps of people who can't sing make great records with a little studio magic.
If Ms Hilton could sing she would've given at least one tv performance. She didn't perform it once except lip syncing back stage at private parties and clubs appearances. Paris only cared about her music career initially because her ego is so big she thought she was going to be the next Madonna, when the album flopped she moved on to the next thing which is fine.
Paris herself refers to herself as a brand, which she is. Good on her for gettin that money, but now she's done with music and has other things to do and other ways to make money. I don't think we will ever see even one performance from her.
I wish she did do another album, I love the album, but I dont think for one second that she is passionate about music. She doesn't seem very nice, don't you remember what Tina Fey said about her? I think we'll definitely see her doing a lot more paid interviews about her new romance, and I bet she will do a maternity line if she's pregnant and endorse some more products. I think her screen and sound career has dried up so she needs to work on other things. Paris and her people are smart enough to know where the money is, and music isn't one of those places.

I need another hot Storch produced song so I can hear her whisper at the beginning, "mmmm...yeah...that's hot...mmm...Scott Storch-a...TTYYYAH!" ![:-X](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/lipssealed.png) To this day, those few seconds NEVER get old with me and my friends and has become one of our many adopted catchphrases. The best utilization of a producer's name in a song...EVER.

I think her screen and sound career has dried up so she needs to work on other things. Paris and her people are smart enough to know where the money is, and music isn't one of those places. No I've heard her sing 100% live. She did a mini concert during a film festival in which she performed "Stars Are Blind", "Nothing In This World", "Bette Davis Eyes", "Heartbeat", "Turn You On" and "I Want You". She performed all but two on a purely instrumental beat. You may even remember seeing her perform "BDE" at another club. And btw, she sounded AMAZING on "Stars Are Blind"...Paris may not have the worlds best voice, but she has an original and good voice. Btw, you will see JUST how good her voice is in "Repo! The Genetic Opera" when it comes to theaters (she's gotten RAVE reviews on her performance in the film ;) ) Yes, Paris is a brand and there is nothing wrong with that. She is someone many young woman and girls can look up to becuase of that, she's getting her money, running an empire and doing it respectfully. She's most certainly passionate about her music, I know she was dissapointed with the albums performance (even though it didn't do that bad) and I know for a fact that when she went in to try out for "Repo!" that it was really her last hope seeing as her past films and her album did mediocre. She got the part, and the director (Director of the Saw films) said she sang and danced better than any other actress that tried out for the role, he said he was surprised at how big her voice really is and people will be surprised because he said he listened to her album, and it didn't do any kind of justice to the voice she really has. So she can sing, don't worry about that. I believe Paris has a bright future in music if her label and her try hard to get it out there. But she can't stop singing cuz she can't break her contract, she had a 4 album contract I believe.

I guess we'll just see what happens. I personally haven't seen her sing live well but I believe you that you have, I think she was maybe a bit lazy or something though that she didn't bother performing on TRL or something to promote the album. I don't think she's a good role model, she never followed up on any of her post prison promises (a half way house for women haha), but who is a good role model these days lol. I hope she does do another album, because I really like her debut, it took me ages to warm to it but now I love it. I've only seen her sing in the trailer to Repo which looked pretty bad, but I'll wait for the whole movie. Anything has to be better then pledge this hahaha.
I remember hearing she recorded heart of glass, it would be cool if she released that.
I see you like Raven. Her album was really good it deserved to do better, nearly all the songs are hot and double dutch bus is so catchy.

Jun 27, 7:03 AM EDT Paris Hilton donates to LA's Childrens Hospital
LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Paris Hilton is making good on her promise to become a better person.
The 27-year-old socialite made an "extremely generous" donation toward the construction of a medical building at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles, hospital officials said Thursday, although they did not specify the amount.
"The children I have met through my involvement with Childrens Hospital have truly touched my heart," Hilton said in a statement. "I am proud to make a donation and lend my name to the fundraising effort to help children who are facing terribly serious illnesses."
The 460,000-square-foot Childrens Center for Cancer and Blood Diseases is expected to open in 2010.
After spending about 23 days in jail last year for violating probation on alcohol-related reckless driving charges, Hilton told CNN's Larry King the experience caused her to re-evaluate the role partying played in her life. She said she wanted "to help raise money for kids and for breast cancer and multiple sclerosis."

Paris Hilton Making Music with Benji Madden
By Ivory Jeff Clinton People Magazine
Originally posted Friday June 27, 2008 05:00 PM EDT
It's good to have a musical boyfriend.
Benji Madden has already recorded a song about Paris Hilton, and now the Good Charlotte guitarist is helping her with her own music.
Hilton, 27, told E! News that she and Madden, 29, are hard at work on the theme song to her upcoming MTV reality show My New BFF.
"Benji and I have been working hard on it," she said. "He's helping me write the lyrics for the song and then I'll sing it, too."
The couple, who've been dating for four months, are laying down the track at a studio located, conveniently enough, in her Beverly Hills mansion.
Premiering later this year, My New BFF will follow the former Simple Life star as she chooses a new shopping buddy from 20 contestants.
Hilton also plans to start working on the follow-up to her 2006 debut CD Paris. "I'll have another album come out, for sure," she told E! News. "I just don't know when yet. I only have the summer off, then I'll be taping another season of BFF. But an album is something I'll do."
