I liked this the first time around when it was called "Work It" by Missy Elliott.
I mean do rappers, hip hop artists have any originality anymore?
This sounds so rehashed it isn't even funny.

This sounds nothing like "Work It" Maybe it's the other one that sounds just like that, then. Give me a break, it uses the EXACT same beat for crying out loud.

Give me a break, it uses the EXACT same beat for crying out loud. No they don't. They're almost completely different. I don't even hear any similarity at all.

This sounds nothing like "Work It" Also add the fact that I can't stand "Work It", while "Drop It Like It's Hot" is one of my favorite rap tracks that are out right now...

Not at all...are you listening to the right song? Probably not judging the responses. Either that or my general bad attitude towards rap is rearing it's ugly head. *I* don't get much difference. I know there are parts of it I've heard before, maybe it's that other missy elliott song, but parts of <this> song I know I've heard.

Fair enough, I rarely hear a song of any genre that I think sounds that original.

Just for the record, I talked to someone else who thought the song sounded similar to Missy Elliott also. Of course they may have just been being nice to the crazy man... crap, now I'm sure they were just humoring me.

You want to talk rehashed? Think Nickelback. Think Trapt. Think Hoobastank. Think most of the nü-rock bands like Jet and whatnot polluting the charts nowadays. Now that is rehashing.

I really like this track. I was surprised for it. Although, when I first heard the song, I thought my pop station was playing Can't Stop, Won't Stop by Young Gunz.

This song is great! Easily one of my favorite rap songs of the moment. With its large gains and catchiness I see this as a future number one.
