My calculations of the top 100 songs of 2004 on the Mediabase CHR/Pop chart -- which is used to determine R&R's year-end chart -- are now complete. The 50 weekly charts from December 5, 2003 to December 19, 2003 and January 9, 2004 to November 26, 2004 were used -- which is believed to be the same time frame that R&R uses.
Disclaimer: I do not guarantee 100% accuracy of this data, or even that every position on this set of calculations will match up with what R&R comes out with. However, I have painstakingly compiled each position for every week on the Mediabase final updates, down to 1 spin. I have faith that what I have come up with is as accurate as possible without being totally sure that it's the same as R&R's.
Now, on to the guessing game. I'm not the greatest at giving out clues, but I'll try my best.
Your first set of clues...

100. This solo singer was almost unseen in the top 100. No stranger to close calls, the artist of this song beat out #101 by a mere 163 spins. Clay Aiken - "Invisible"99. This song just missed the top 10 on the Alternative chart, but went recurrent. It peaked on the CHR/Pop chart in July. Trapt - "Echo"98. The lowest-peaking song to make the top 100, with a #27 peak, this was a #1 hit on at least one other R&R chart. Three Days Grace - "(I Hate) Everything About You"97. The single before this hit the top 5, but the single after this didn't even hit the top 50. Michelle Branch - "Breathe"96. Peaked in the 2003 chart year. Possible one-hit wonder. Fountains of Wayne - "Stacy's Mom"95. A top 20 hit this fall, it lost 90% of its airplay in 4 weeks. Ashlee Simpson - "Shadow"94. Perhaps the only top 100 hit to incorporate a children's toy. Limp Bizkit - "Behind Blue Eyes"93. Fourth single that spent 39 weeks in the top 100 in chart year 2004 alone. Sean Paul - "I'm Still In Love With You"92. Lower of two songs in the top 100 from this artist. Still rising on the Pop chart. JoJo - "Baby It's You"91. This song's spin graph in 2004 looks like this: Gavin DeGraw - "I Don't Want to Be"

90. Peaked at #16. Last single from a 2002 album. Good Charlotte - "Hold On"
89. Spent 21 weeks in the top 50, all in 2004. Murphy Lee f/Jermaine Dupri - "Wat Da Hook Gon Be"
88. The single before this (on other formats) might wind up being the single after this on CHR/Pop. Nickelback - "Feelin' Way Too Damn Good"
87. Fell out of the top 40 from its peak position (and lost 75% of its airplay) in 3 weeks. Christina Aguilera - "The Voice Within"
86. Sample lyrics: In your eyes is the look of resentment/I can sense it, and I don't like it. D12 - "How Come"
85. Peaked at #2 on Hot AC and #16 on Pop. Matchbox Twenty - "Bright Lights"
84. Relative disappointment between two top 5 hits. The song in the top 100 with the lowest November 26th spin total, with just 4 spins. Beyonce - "Me, Myself, and I"
83. Has spent more weeks in the top 100 of the Mediabase chart than any other song -- 42 weeks. It only peaked at #18 though. Jay-Z - "Dirt Off Your Shoulder"
82. Hit #12 on the Pop chart, but only #38 on the Pulse 100. I have a feeling that this particular collaboration won't be happening again. Chingy f/Snoop Dogg & Ludacris - "Holidae In"
81. The origins of this word are traced to the French for "dance" or "fiddle", among other possibilities. Nick Cannon - "Gigolo"

Somehow I doubt you got that without looking the lyrics up, but that's correct.

88--Switchfoot, Dare You To Move 85--Dido, White Flag? 83--Jay-Z, Dirt Off Your Shoulder? It's still in the Top 100 and peaked at 18 or 19...
Wow I am doing BAD! Watch these all be wrong.
