The Return Of...CHR Survivor.

Just a little background: It's been almost 2 years since a Survivor poll was held in here. Yes, that dates back to the Josh/Adam era. What happened around the beginning of June 2005 was that the Survivor craze ended up getting out of control (just search back to that time and you'll see what I mean!), and so Josh decided that there shouldn't be any more for the time being. Needless to say, no one's bothered to start another one ever since.
Until yours truly has decided to break that today, that is.
I've been thinking that it'd be quite interesting to have one of these done once again.
This will be a CHR/Pop Survivor, using the top 40 songs from the 5-11-07 Mediabase Pop chart. The original game only went to 40, and I'm choosing to stick with that.
Rules: Vote for the song you want to get rid of. Voting is in rounds, and a round ends when a song gets 4 votes - the song with 4 votes is then eliminated. Then, the next round starts with all songs remaining back to 0 votes. Rinse, lather, repeat until there's only 10 songs left. Then it takes 5 votes to eliminate a song. Then...rinse, lather, repeat until only one's left.
Once a song has 4 votes, however, you are not allowed to start the voting process for the next round unless you post the list of songs that are still in the game. The responsibility for that shall be fall on whomever is available at a given time - i.e. if you see that a song has 4 votes and you want to start the next round, go right ahead, but you have to post the list of remaining songs in your round-starting post. The entire game will take place in this one thread, obviously.
POLICY ON CHANGING YOUR VOTE: I'm mentioning this now so that it doesn't get asked later. I honestly do not remember what the policy was on people changing their votes...but I'm not going to forbid it. It can be very bad precedent, though, if round after round goes by full of posts that are changed votes...so please try to not overdo it.
