hey! this is kelly's second time having 2 songs in the top 10! Yep, I think it's a pretty amazing testament to the staying power of her singles that SUBG entered the top 10 when Breakaway was still there and now BTHE has made its way into the top 10 while SUBG is still there.

hey, shouldn't SUBG and breakaway be triple platinum by now? SUBG is eligible for a 3x platinum certification since it sold over 600k, but Breakaway is only eligible for 2x. It hasn't sold 500k yet.

There are separate Billboard awards for physical singles and digital tracks. SUBG is looking pretty good as a contender for the digital track award.

I think Gwen will take it however.

What are SUBG's exact total for Digital Downloads, and what are Gwens, I'd like to see how the compare. (even though I know neither are close to being done..)
BTHE was #1 again on TRL Today...6 days in a row!

Z100 is helping SUBG a lot too: 11 2 KELLY CLARKSON Since U Been Gone 82 46 36 7.915 It went from 28 spins or so last week to about 80 the other day. Kelly Clarkson is the queen of pop radio this year, haha. You're not kidding that Z100 is helping Kelly. I agree that it's probably because she performed at Zootopia that she went back to the top again. I collect the Z100 playlists weekly. SUBG has not fallen out of the top 10 any week from DECEMBER 14th (she was at #5) to this weeks chart, MAY 24th, where she's at #2. The lowest she's been at any point during that time was #7, two weeks ago.

Digital Download totals as of this week, thanks to bks: Breakaway: 448,512 Since U Been Gone: 627,143 Behind These Hazel Eyes: 120,431 Rich Girl: 480,622 Hollaback Girl: 440,148 I haven't seen a total for What You Waiting For recently, but if I had to guess I'd put it around 300k.

Vh1 totally f'ed that video up. It went sooooo fast. Half the time her mouth didn't match up with the words. Did anyone else notice this on the countdown?

BTHE could be the next #1 song on the hot 100 if downloads stay steady Well I hope so!! I would be thrilled if it happened, but I don't think it will. SUBG had big download numbers and a lot of airplay on Pop, Hot AC ( spidey, Rock stations don't play pop/rock songs. Hot AC stations do), and dance stations and wasn't quite able to get to #1.

Avril Lavigne, Pink, Michelle Branch got rock airplay. Why can't Kelly? She's pop, but is obviously a rock song with a rock-ish video!!!

Rock stations would never play Kelly Clarkson Unfortunately, that's probably true. How's it unfortunate? If she was played at Rock, people would get tired of her and she would suffer overexposure. I mean, POp is already playing her to death. Besides, BTHE is too poppy for Rock.

Besides, BTHE is too poppy for Rock. It's unfortunate because some rock stations don't play her just because of AI.

Guys, rock stations are not going to play songs by a female pop singer, especially one that came from AI. End of story.

Avril Lavigne, Pink, Michelle Branch got rock airplay. None of them ever got close to a significant amount of spins. Each of them had atleast one song get a few spins at Alternative. Mariah's "We Belong Together" has something like 5 Alternative spins this week. Does that make Mariah a rock artist? No. It means there are some Alternative stations out there with weird playlists.
