I agree. The single should've been Walk Away.

I hope radio really warms up to this song too... currently they are wearing Kelly out on my local pop station.

She was on Regis & Kelly this morning. Her performance was much better than yesterday's Today Show screamfest.

Her hair looks awful that blonde when she's as pale as she is now.

I have a bad feeling this song isn't going to do that well. It already has been added to Dallas's rotation and Dallas really loves Kelly and usually has her on the top 5 @ 8 really quick but this song hasn't even made it yet with over a week in rotation already. When SUBG came out in less than like 3 days it was #2 so yea..it sucks too because this song is really good...I think if it was released a little bit later...like maybe 4th single..it would have done better. Real shame.

I am always great at picking singles, and even though people have their opinions I never consider them right. This is an excellent choice. Next should be a darker slower ballad like "Because of You", "Addicted", or "Hear Me".

I agree. This song might have a tough time climbing up the charts because Kelly has 2 big hits still being played a lot, but I believe it will a have a slow climb to the Top 10. IMO, it's another #1. Walk Away would probably have a faster rise, but it would reach #18 and fall like a brick. It has no staying power.

I think it will be interesting to see what happens with BTHE. Due to the success of Breakaway and SUBG, I think that radio will be eager to pick up the song. I hope you are right that it has more staying power. It just seems that so many artists now have huge hype, radio picks it up quickly and then its dead in the water-- hello- JLo and Britney? * Just to note, I like them both. I just wish they'd put out a little better song.

I'd be very surprised if BoY hit #1 on Pop. It's far moodier and slower than anything we've seen there for a long time.

I actually wouldn't mind this peaking Top 10 if BOY would go #1.

I see this song having some trouble. With Breakaway and SUBG doing soo strong... still at this point, and SUBG and this song being sorta similar... I think it is very likely it could peak outside the Top 10. But hopefully, BTHE will ride on the previous two single's steampower... and become a hit. I'm a bit nervous about this one.

My Immortal. Just saying.... BOY does not strike me as megahit... like that song did for me. BOY is good... but I find the production and lyrics a bit more dated. I like it though.

With Breakaway and SUBG both getting HUGE airplay I think that this might have trouble breaking top 10.

Does anyone know why she and the label is releasing her singles so early before her other ones barely peak? Are they rushing this album for new material already? Its quite weird why they don't let a track run its airplay out before the next single is released.
Listeners might really get sick of the oversaturation when Breakaway is still getting constant rotation on Pop. This song might seriously struggle because of this. SUBG I think got real lucky just being the second single (or whatever we decided it was). Doing this with the third might be dangerous.

They are not rushing the releases at all! IMO, her record company is doing a fantastic job. They have released everything at the right time, and right now is the perfect time to release BTHE.

It's already been over four months since SUBG was released, it'll be yet another month by the time BTHE is officially released. Five months is a decent interval. Ignoring that BTHE is very similar to SUBG, which will probably hurt it, it's good timing, since SUBG will probably have fallen out of the top 5, if not top 10, by then.

SUBG I think got real lucky just being the second single (or whatever we decided it was). Doing this with the third might be dangerous. From the perspective of both a fan and a follower of the charts, I don't know if I'd say the singles are being rushed. I really think RCA wasn't anticipating that little soundtrack single Kelly did over the summer becoming such a huge, long-lasting hit, and it sort of messed with the timetable for single releases. As the first single released specifically in support of the album, SUBG should have gone for adds more than 2 weeks before the album dropped, but it couldn't go for adds much sooner than that because Breakaway was still going strong (it still had its bullet until the day before SUBG went for adds November 16). Now BTHE will be going for adds April 11, nearly 5 months after the previous single went for adds. In terms of where SUBG will most likely be chartwise on that day, perhaps it's a bit soon, but in terms of the time between the releases of the two singles, it's not that rushed. I do think there were better choices for the immediate follow-up to SUBG, and I have the feeling that if this takes off, SUBG will get very little recurrent play, as stations will swap one song for the other instead of having both in rotation (of course they'll probably still be playing Breakaway, since that song doesn't sound like either one of these and doesn't seem to want to die )
