I don't think Z103.5 (CIDC) Toronto plays AT40 at a different time during the summer.

A new feature started today, the AT40 E-mail. Ryan reads some e-mails from listeners. The last e-mail he reads is a request (in this case, "Swing Swing" by the All American Rejects). At the end, he said to include the station you listen to the show on in your e-mail for the request. If you don't include your station name, does the request not count?

I listened to this one, in and out. At times, he sounded good; then, Seacrest was his typical annoying personality, talking about himself. I wasn't going to post on this topic, then I listened to the radio yesterday.
1-15-05 is an important date in Seacrest's career where his radio show-attitude became real life. I heard on the Hollywood report by Mike Evans yesterday (on KQRS) that he was yelling & cursing at stagehands during the Tsunami relief program because his Coke (drink) wasn't by his phone.
This guy really has an attitude that his is the star. As Casey said, "keep your feet on the ground, and keep reaching for the stars." If only, Seacrest would follow his advice.

Woah! Amazing jump for Ciara! I think Over and Over has spent the most weeks at #1 since 2000. Yeah, lots of big jumps this week, mainly due to the fact that this show corresponded to the January 7, 2005 chart while last week's show was comparable to December 17, 2004. I'm glad that Ryan, like Casey Kasem, counts the weeks over the holiday break, particularly number one weeks. And you're right - the last song to spend ten weeks at the top was "Bye Bye Bye" by 'N Sync a song that, to this day, I still hate. Too bad "Over and Over" ain't gonna tie the record held by Donna Lewis' extremely annoying piece of crap that is "I Love You Always Forever". Oh well, at least "Lean Back" by Terror Squad never hit #1. That's my least favorite song in the world right now. I'm doing a pretty good job of holding that song as low as I can on my version of 2004's charts. Its R&R run: 46-39-31-28-25-22-19-16... (9/24 is the newest chart I've done so far) On my version of the charts, it debuted in the Top 50 a week later than on R&R. The week it entered the R&R Top 40, it barely made my Top 50. Its run was: 50-45-42-40-36-33-32... For the most part, I keep things consistent with R&R, but for songs that I literally can't stand to listen to (at least I can tolerate "In Da Club" and "I Love You Always Forever" and "Bye Bye Bye" somewhat), I make exceptions. I have a feeling, however, that "Lean Back" is going to end up making my Top 100 of 2004, but let's hope it doesn't. And that's the latest update on my version of 2004's charts. Now, back to the countdown...

And you're right - the last song to spend ten weeks at the top was "Bye Bye Bye" by 'N Sync Actually, Ryan himself said that the last 10+ weeker was "Lady Marmalade." I don't have my notes it front of me, but it may have spent an extra week on top on AT40 as Casey was using that "odd Mediabase chart" at the time instead of R&R.

Oh yeah, that's right. I remember the poster who called himself "Christinanumerounofan" (is he the one who became Rebirth or Tiger Cub?) was bummed that LM wasn't #1 on the R&R chart the week of his birthday, but at least the song was #1 on AT40 that week.

One source, which I have been told not to name has "Over & Over" #1 for 1-22-05 for its 11th week Then, "Don't Want To Be" #1 29-05 2-5-05 & 2-12-05 "Let Me Love You"
We will soon know.....

Casey was using that "odd Mediabase chart" at the time instead of R&R. Hey, just like Ryan is doing now.

That would be Tiger Cub. Josh was either MariahJanet or not yet registered at that time, I believe.
