Can't wait!
TMOM had its crap moments, but it had some great songs on it.
Hell No. Why Her. Sideline Ho. ETBT. A Dozen Roses.
All great, imo. :)

Her last CD was a major disappointment content-wise. There was nothing that stood out at all. With that being her 4th CD and her 11th year in the game, I would have predicted a much better effort than that.

Update:
- We can expect "Regions Of Rock", her clothing Line for boys, in stores around August. She will confirm stores for us at a later date but described it as hot , edgy and urban. Colorful and not overbearing. Some is sophisticated and other styles are laid back.
- The new show is called "The Single" and will air on Turner Networks. She thanked Ryan Glover James DeVoe and Peachtree TV. Says it will give us a look into her life, some of her relationships, family situations, etc. She understands that she may not have done some things the traditional way, but this will help us to understand the way she is.
- As far as "Lessons Learned", she is still linking up with producers for more records. Alot of the producers are in high demand right now, but schedules are lining up and they working on some things. Expect the album during the fourth quarter of this year.
- Shout out to her fans in Canada and reminds them to come check her out live on June 28th. You will get to hear some of the old, some of the new and maybe even some of the tracks we haven't heard yet.

Monica left a new voicemail message on her SayNow private line for her fans. Monica revealed the title of her new reality TV show, Monica: The Single, on Peachtree TV which premieres in August.
Of course, I knew all of this already, but I couldn’t reveal the details because my friend at Turner Entertainment asked me not to.
Monica has a gift not only for singing but for communicating effectively with people from all walks of life. She talks about her new children’s line Regions of Rock and her new album. But Monica also gives advice on dealing with the negativity in life that all of us can relate to.
Visit Monica’s SayNow page to hear the audio, or call 1-(818) 836-6505 and leave your number so she can text you when she leaves a new message!

WTH is PeachtreeTV? That sucks. Sounds like its only for ATLiens. I hope somebody from ATL will be youtubing, I would love to see Monica's show. I love her personality.

I just watched this! I'm impressed w/ her involvement. I'm actually excited for this record. This is the first monica record i've been excited about since TBIM. I really like "Still Standin." However, I agree with the label, it's not really first single material. Well, I could see it going top 10 on urban, BUT its not a cross over.

I agree...she said in part 1 that she wanted a "big soulful record with a pop twist". I think Taxi could be that record, i mean I know people are tired of Stargate but the charts show otherwise.

I agree...she said in part 1 that she wanted a "big soulful record with a pop twist". I think Taxi could be that record, i mean I know people are tired of Stargate but the charts show otherwise. exactly! Also, I think if Monica wants that big crossover hit needs to get away from ATL. She has that ATL sound. That isn't a bad thing, BUT those records don't produce that pop twist she's looking for. I hope she worked with Rodney Jerkins. Even though it's been a minute since he had a huge hit, he is really good with R&b records with enough pop flair to become a crossover! Also, I think she'd work well Will i. am, Jimmy Jam and terry lewis (i know they're old school, but can still produce some good r&b/pop ballads). Also, I wish Monica would work with non R&B folks like John Mayer. I bet the results would be phenomenal! Also, for some reason i kept thinking of alicia keys as I was watching the episodes. Monica would tear a beat like "no one" up! That Stargate song does sound good--Bring on irreplaceable part 257,186!

and one more thing before I go to bed... success is more than the music. Monica is gonna need to put herself out there and perform and do interviews. And she is gonna need J records to do an aggresive campaign. ETTBD was actually fine for a first single and could have been that heavy urban crossover to pop. BUT, there was no marketing strategy and no little to no performance. This time around J records needs to set her up with a decent size radio tour and get her on TRL and BET for a performance and/or interview BEFORE the release week. And on release week she needs to perform on GMA or the today show. she and J records are gonna have to work it! Same applies to Brandy. and for christ sakes can Monica please shake this super ghetto image! Bring back the the girl who sang angel of mine and not sideline ho!

Thats a straight up Urban and Rythmic SMASH! but not Pop. Ludacris is a great addition aswell. I love that its not a typical B-Cox mid-temp. That up-tempo beat makes it more of an anthem for her. My only gripe is that Bryan Michael Cox be jamming to his productions a little TOO damn hard.
