He now has What Them Girls Like and One More Drink for the radio with the street singles Undisputed and Wish You Would. This album is gonna be the best this year and its gonna sell big. He'll need a lot of sales to match up with Kanye's album that also comes in Nov. 25.

On many of the songs, the co-starring people are only singing choruses/small bridge.
Nothing to panic over.

Yes?
What Them Girls Like: Chris & Sean were only on the chorus.
One More Drink: T-Pain was on the chorus and had a small bridge.

That CD cover is tight, creative. I hope this does well. I have all of his CDs, and I will definitely pick this one up regardless of how it sounds. I cannot say the same about the public, which is why the single/s need to do well.

Billboard:
ARTIST: LUDACRIS
SINGLE: UNDISPUTED (DEF JAM)
Ludacris literally puts himself inside a boxing ring on "Undisputed" as retired undefeated boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. coaches him on how to win against any and all challengers. And how: With one punch line after another flawlessly delivered in brazen fashion, it's undeniable that he remains among the best MCs in hip-hop. It's been only two years since his last album, but the music industry has a short memory. So "Undisputed" not only reminds listeners how Ludacris became a champion in rap, but also -- and more important -- why he remains one.

I just noticed that those are all a bunch of Ludacrisisisisis on the cover!
I love how his featured guests are co-stars.
There's one thing Ludacris is a genius at - that's holding a theme.

[glow=red,2,300]My Official Review[/glow]
1. Intro It's a fun, creative intro, but then you get into the lyrical content, and it's ok at best. 6.5/10
2. Undisputed [shadow=red,left,300]co-starring Floyd "Money" Mayweather[/shadow] This is an old track. This is also my main problem with the album. I've heard most of the songs already. Some of them have been tweaked slightly, but they are still essentially the same. Anywhoo, I would've liked to see this as the intro. Lyrically impressive, hard beat. 8/10
3. Wish You Would [shadow=red,left,300]co-starring T.I.[/shadow] Again, I've heard it. Still a good track. 7/10
4. One More Drink [shadow=red,left,300]co-starring T-Pain[/shadow] The single that was supposed to save the album. It still could, but it's not looking as good as Def Jam would like. Anyways, I personally love this song. Funny, catchy, typical Luda. 9/10
5. Call Up The Homies[shadow=red,left,300] co-starring The Game and Willy Northpole[/shadow] This is where the album starts to impress me. It seems like Luda went in a different direction with this album. It's like he's regaining street cred with this LP. A lot of these songs aren't typical Luda album songs, they're a lot grimier. 8.5/10
6. Southern Gangsta [shadow=red,left,300]co-starring Rick Ross, Playaz Circle and Ving Rhames[/shadow] This sounds like a mixtape track. Honestly, Rick Ross is terrible. His lyrics are plain stupid. Why did you put him on here Luda!!? Playaz Circle did a bang up job, but it doesn't save this track. 4/10
7. Everybody Hates Chris [shadow=red,left,300]co-starring Chris Rock[/shadow] Skip it. Just skip it. Idiotic chorus, lame verses. I'm pissed at this point in the album. 2/10
8. What Them Girls Like [shadow=red,left,300]co-starring Chris Brown and Sean Garrett[/shadow] Can't figure out why this one didn't do so well on the charts. Sounded like a sure fire hit to me, but I guess no one else felt that way. Maybe it was too simplistic? Hold on, I thought pop radio loved that? Guess not. 7/10
9. Nasty Girl [shadow=red,left,300]co-starring Plies[/shadow] Why would you put Plies on your album, Ludacris? I'm starting to not trust your judgement. First Rick Ross' dumb fat ass then this. Wow. By the way, the song sucks. Nothing good, it just plain sucks. At this point, I'm thinking the Luda I know is now gone. Hollywood got to his head. 1/10
10. Contagious [shadow=red,left,300]co-starring Jamie Foxx[/shadow] This song is contagiously unpredictable. You know what I'm Saying!? Nuff said. 6/10
11. Last Of A Dying Breed[shadow=red,left,300] co-starring Lil Wayne[/shadow] Well, folks by this time, the album was considered sh!t to me. I'm mad. I heard this, and even though I've heard it in the past, they made some changes and Luda re-did his last verse. I was feeling this one!! Loved it, Hard beat, sick lyrics, Lil Wayne could've been left out, but it doesn't negatively impact the song at all. 9.5/10
12. MVP Decent lyrics, dumb beat. I'm sorry, I can't get into the choruses that are formed with older lyrics. Maybe I'm growing out of this 7 year Ludacris phase. Or maybe he's just going downhill....fast :( 3/10
13. I Do It For Hip Hop[shadow=red,left,300] co-starring Nas and JAY-Z[/shadow] Love it. Nas verse, great. Jay-Z verse, amazing. Luda verse, hmmmm. Great song even though Luda slipped. 8/10
14. Do The Right Thang [shadow=red,left,300]co-starring Common and Spike Lee [/shadow] Best song on the album. Love it. Sick verses, sick beat, awesome message. PERFECT 10/10.
CONCLUSION: Luda tried to go in a different direction. With the exception of 4 songs, he failed. It pains me to say it because I'm a huge Luda fan, but he fell flat on his face with this garbage. I own all 5 Luda albums, and I can say that I won't be picking this one up. Maybe spend less time on movies and more on music, huh champ??
Overall Score: 6.39

Great album. I am impressed that Luda is being less of a clown (even though he does it well) and going in a more serious direction. Obviously, there are some light-hearted party songs but in general, I like the focus.

Yea, I always thought of him as a "clown" rapper because he has been so over-the-top, comical and a caricature. However, with Release Therapy, the hair cut and hitting 30, he has been going in a different direction seemingly.

^He really did that last year by scoring 2 Grammys, one of which somewhat surprisingly for Best Rap Album, over favorite T.I.(who has yet to win this award and likely won't next year due to Weezie). I still think it was Runaway Love that gave Luda the edge that year.

Billboard:
ARTIST: LUDACRIS
ALBUM: THEATER OF THE MIND (DTP/Def Jam)
Ludacris' 2006 album "Release Therapy" was supposed to illustrate some degree of personal growth, but "Theater" has no time for troublesome goal-setting. This one's stuffed with massive, flamboyant beats, overloud dirty-comic vocals and all the usual lyrical stops: the streets, women-slash-liquor and money, which is apparently important to him. Throughout, Ludacris brings the funny, gets off two or three killer lines per song (check out "Everybody Hates Chris," featuring Chris Rock, happily), seems to enjoy his cars and sex, takes shots at Bill O'Reilly and obtains cameos by every rapper you've ever heard of (and, of course, Ving Rhames).
