May 12th. Because it's never too early to put out your second single. I think this is Active Rock only. Me, I'm just waiting for the album.

What was Citizen/Soldier considered? I know technically it wasn't the first single but it was released first and they did make a video for it. It charted, despite being just an apparent tribute.

I guess this is a little too soon to release a single since "It's Not My Time" is still doing pretty well, but I can't complain. Now I'd assume it may fall like a rocket when this new song starts moving up the charts. I'm just really eager to hear their new album.

What was Citizen/Soldier considered? That was their single "for the streets."

What was Citizen/Soldier considered? just an apparent tribute. Yeah IMO that could've been a smash on Active Rock/Rock if they hadn't released It's Not My Time a couple weeks later...wonderin if they're ever gonna go back and give it a second chance - word is it had poor callout on CHR and HAC, but not sure why that's a reason to bail on it on the Rock formats...

One of those songs where the band name and title are interchangable almost.

One of those songs where the band name and title are interchangable almost. Yeah, I was thinking about working that angle in there earlier.

Not as good as "It's Not My Time"
But as lately I got to know about 3 Doors Down (3 months only) I think "It's Not My Time" is their best followed by "Kryptonite" and "Here Without You".

It's...ok.
It's certainly not something I'd expect from 3DD.
Hearing a bit of the album, I'd probably go with "Give It To Me". Kind of reminds me of something from Course of Nature.
I miss their Better Life sound.
Loser is one of my favorite rock songs ever.

Now that I've finally actually heard this song, I gotta say I like the sound. I dont know what it is about 3DD but they never really disappoint me and i'm not at all sad to hear a song with some heavier teeth. It's tough to say which I like better between this and It's Not My Time but right now I dont care, its just good to throw them on and love me some 3DD.

I really am impressed with their new album. It has a perfectly even mix of harder and softer songs and IMO almost any track off of it could be a future single. I think this is one of the standouts and was a good choice since it is the album opener.

Just listened to the album and this was by far my favorite on the album. I hope to hear it soon somewhere!

This would probably be on the bottom end of my list of choices for singles, but then again, there are a lot of single-worthy songs on this album. There are a handful of songs on this album that i've been playing over and over.

I am going to have to go with the "duh, obvious" answer by saying Train is multiple times better than the rehashed It's Not My Time. It's great to hear these guys rock again, probably the first time since Duck & Run graced the airwaves. I may have to give the entire album a purchase if they put out another single like this. no way. It's Not My Time IS 3 Doors Down's best song in my opinion.

If it's a battle between the two, then my vote is for "Train" as well.

Train is good, It's Not My Time was probably the best first single choice. The rest of the album can just pick up steam from it

"Train" is nothing that special, but it'll do as a follow-up for Active Rock. "It's Not My Time", though, that was pretty much the perfect way to kick it all off.

This was a great choice as the next rock single. Should be top 5 for sure, I'd like to say #1, but you never know. But I hope this isn't the second single for CHR, don't think it will do well there.

I also really hope Give It to Me is released eventually, at least to rock. That one sure sounds like a mainstream rock smash to me.

should go with "Let Me Be Myself" or "It's the Only One You've Got" on CHR.. or Your Arms Feel Like Home. I think any one of those 3 are CHR gold.
