I have mixed feelings about her. Some good songs, some horrid. Image is a disaster though-borderline embarassing and bad videos. I will like to see how she develops, if she gets the chance.

Actually, considering I know her; I can assure you that it's all her. Hey, do you think Fefe would ever come on PMB and read about her? She has a lotta fans here! Tell her to join the party. Great idea. I really liked her first album and it'd be great if she posted here at PMB. :)

The video WAS shot. It's no sure whether Island will release it or not as this point, however.

I have mixed feelings about her. Some good songs, some horrid. Image is a disaster though-borderline embarassing and bad videos. I will like to see how she develops, if she gets the chance. That's kind of how I feel too. It seems like to succeed you need either catchy songs or an image that people can really grab on to. Perferably both. I know a lot of people wonder about how artists like Ashlee Simpson do well when they aren't particularly vocally gifted and I think she's the perfect example of someone who has reasonably catchy songs and an image that people were able to latch on to. I mean how many people out there have older siblings who are prettier or get more attention or whatever? That's a big chunk of the population she's got relating to her right off the bat. Fefe, all I know is I saw a promo shot of her recently and I thought, "damn, what the hell is up with her hair?" I remember liking a few of the songs from her last album, but this one didn't do very much for me. Couple that with the image and you've pretty much got the scientific formula for flop.

Even though Island has no intentions of promoting this single any further: I'm sure there will be a lot of discussion about this one... here is the music video. Personally, as wacky and almost strange as it is, I think it conveys the feelings PERFECTLY. Good watch. music.aol.com/artist/main.adp?artistid=576248

I think that could be the worst music video I've ever seen. And I've seen a lot.
It looks incredibly cheap, she doesn't look good, it's extremely poorly edited, and at least 80% of the shots could have been taken by someone in high school. The shots of her sitting on the concrete brick with the solid colored background... I mean how much money did they spend on this video? The references to album covers (which are few and far between... I assume the pink and yellow was a reference to the Sex Pistols and the black/white striped shirt a Blondie reference) were extremely weak if not non-existant. She doesn't seem to be emoting at all throughout the video. You never really even get to see her face up close, it's all crappy long shots.
Horrible. Absolutely horrible.

This wasn't the original treatment (which called for Fefe to emulate album covers come-to-life). It's actually the second version that was shot.
And this is FAR from the worst video ever. This is leaps better than BSB's "Just Want You To Know".

At least "Just Want You To Know" was, in some sense, an attempt to be humorous, eventhough it backfired. I mean, if they weren't so lame I would probably think it was a great video, but because it's them, it seemed like they were trying too hard and it was kind of sad.
If it was Blink 182 in that video, everyone would have thought it was the shit. But because it wasn't, people gave them flack (including myself). But it was actually kinda cool that they did that.
This video is downright bad, and what makes it worse is the fact that there was an intent to make it good while they were filming it, which I don't necessarily think was present during the BSB's shoot. They probably got a ton of bad footage because they were trying to make a bad video.
It just looks INCREDIBLY, INCREDIBLY cheap and thrown together. The different setups are basically:
(a) in front of a brick wall (b) sitting on a concrete block (c) laying on a mattress (d) sitting on a toilet (e) band playing in some weird space
And they all look cheap, terrible, boring, and unflattering to her. She's actually attractive but you would have no idea based on any clip or still from this video.
I don't know, they should have saved the few thousand dollars they spent making this video and put it towards something more inspired and better planned out.

They shot two videos for this song?! Wow.
The video was OK.. the words don't seem to go along with her mouth. The toilet bit looked out of place.

Yeah they scrapped the Diane Martel version because it sucked.
It's pretty clear at least some of the "ideas" were translated into this one. The funny thing is that all the album covers she wanted to bring to live were probably ones no one was familiar with. As "punk" and "indie" as everyone likes to say they are today, if they were watching a Fefe Dobson video and saw a Blondie reference, or a Sex Pistols reference, I doubt they would pick it up. Also, she's not trying to appeal to that kind of audience with this type of song.

This was still directed by Diane Martel. It's just really edited. Entire portions are taken out.

The song is good. I don't understand why it was totally ignored.

That is the worst video i have ever seen in my entire life. It ruins the song. thank god no one will ever see this. Fefe looks like shes gonna kill herself. Seriously, someone teach her how to act and get her a new stylist. She looks and acts like a psychopath throughout the video.

This was still directed by Diane Martel. It's just really edited. Entire portions are taken out. So if it's Diane Martel, of course most of you guys are saying it sucks! The only person she's managed to make decent videos for/with is Mariah Carey.
