I wonder if 60s gold will still broadcast the Satellite survey. according to Lou Simon, the survey will keep broadcasting on 60s Gold. Same DJ, same format, no changes afaik (which I'm thankful for, that's my favourite of the non-AT40 shows).

At least with Rod Stewart, they played the correct version of Reason to Believe unlike with HITYL.

They just shuffled some of the channels on SXM, with 50s & 60s being moved to 72 & 73 respectively and a new 2010s channel added. Hopefully that means a 2010s countdown show in the near future (and I REEEEAAALLY hope it’s a top 40 show if it happens)!

Changes I've noticed:
Pulse (Adult Top 40) moves to channel 5.
Coffeehouse moves to channel 6
New channel: The 10's Spot now channel 11
New Channel: Mosaic (90s and 2000s) Channel 15
Channel 54 is ABBA Radio (starting Friday 11/5)
Frank Sinatra Radio moves to Channel 70
Channel 71 is Classic Christmas
50s moves to Channel 72
60s moves to channel 73
Broadway moves to channel 77
Channel 105 is Modern Christmas

We should add the blend to the makeover camp. That channel now plays mainly 60s to some early 90s soft rock. It sounds more like what moving easy was in 2008.

I can't imagine it would be a top 40, when the 90s and 00s countdowns are top 30 and playlists just get smaller as the years go by.

I would not count on a forty spot countdown. If they do a new show for the ten spot it would be thirty spots and based off the hot 100 like everything else.

(The VJ's say the chart date is November 4th, 1988) Billboard says November 5th. It’s not like the VJs are super accurate with all the info they get to begin with.

This week’s Back in the Day Replay, from November 17th, 1990 (YET AGAIN a repeat from 2019) This makes me mad. The 11/10 chart date was actually closer to the current air date and would have been a new chart. But why do that when you can just keep repeating stuff we've already heard? As usual, they played the horrible alternate version of Lying To Myself. Just painful to listen to. Still, it's about the only time you'll hear the likes of James Ingram, Hall & Oates and Bette Midler on 90s on 9.
