He'll probably be dead before the album even comes out, if it does. :o RIP Michael

That's enough. Death is no joke. You have to be pretty messed up to with death upon ANYONE. As bad as Perez is and I dont respect him at all, no one should have death wished upon them. Are you serious? Wow. I for one wasn't joking, and wasn't WISHING death on anyone. What I said about Perez is true. Didn't Perez initially say that this was a publicity stunt? I wouldn't be surprised if he changed it later.

What's going on is it a coma or is he really dead? They say death comes in three's (Ed, Farrah and Micheal). You ain't kidding. The last time I remember hearing that 3 high-profiled entertainers died so close to each other was in the summer of 1998. That summer we lost 3 supreme children's television legends: Bob McAllister of Wonderama fame (7/21/98, 63), Buffalo Bob Smith of Howdy Doody (7/30/98, 80) and Shari Lewis (8/2/98, 65); 12 days apart. Now it has happened again: An entertainment talk-show co-host and talent-show host (and remember this: If it weren't for Ed at the helm of Star Search for its entire original 12-year run, 1983-95, American Idol might not have been quite as popular as it is today), a perennial television actress, and a supreme pop music legend and philanthropist bar none.

Well I loved him and have remained a fan through all the bad stuff and supported him. But I thought this might happen because it just seems like he was always so drugged, like he was just taking too many pills, which we will probably find out that is what killed him.

Well I loved him and have remained a fan through all the bad stuff and supported him. But I thought this might happen because it just seems like he was always so drugged, like he was just taking too many pills, which we will probably find out that is what killed him. Interesting thought. I might have mentioned it myself, but I didn't want to throw gasoline on the fire. Since you brought it up, you might want to consider this: I don't think he ever pondered, for a second, the thought of growing old. As a matter of fact, it probably scared him quite a bit to even think about it. The one word that kept coming up in the media to describe him was manchild. He literally spent half his life trying to stay young. I imagine the concert he had planned this summer was his last attempt before he decided to give in, let time take over, and spend the rest of his life as a globetrotting humanitarian. Which is to say that I'd hate to think he'd have spent the rest of his life as a recluse. With his efforts to stay young, I doubt that many fans gave a thought of what he might look like at 60 or 70; and like I said before, I doubt he even wanted to think about it. If it was pills that did him in, I wouldn't be surprised; nor am I surprised that he went as such a young age. His inner conflicts with his own self-image, and what he did about it, almost certainly took a toll on his body. Again, he probably couldn't have pictured himself at 60 or 70... ...But spending the remainder of his life as a humanitarian, the way he did during his life, I think he would have enjoyed that so much that he would not have been nearly as afraid to age as he was for so much of his life. Consider 66-year-old Mick Jagger, bouncing around the stage as if he were 26. He ain't worried one bit, because he's having too much fun (47 years and counting) to worry.

All we now need is for Madonna and the rest of the surviving Beatles to die and all the boundary breakers in music will all be gone.

Thoughts out to this family and loved ones. Actually there had been countless reports of problems with MJ during rehearsals and worries regarding his health. There were doubts that he'd even make it through his stint at the O2. I wonder if we'll ever know everything about his last few months.

Still, the people close to him insisted he was fine as far as I know. I never took those rumours too seriously. I think nobody saw this one coming.

I'm just saying that the biggest stars in music die in tragedy. Elvis, Lennon, Harrison, and now Michael have all died by an unatural death. What I meant to say is if Madonna and the rest of the Beatles die, perhaps the biggest names in music ever would all be gone.

Yeah they've been saying he's been trying to do the dances and that he was not in shape enough to do them and that he twisted his ankle or something trying to do the moonwalk.

You can count on a giant tribute to his landmark on Pop culture. First of all an event as big as the internationally televised Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert in 1991. People, artists from all over will honor the one and only King Of Pop. It's just like when Elvis died. Michael was one of a kind. A legendary soul.
