This is one of the most fail moves I've ever seen a record label make.

I really like this song. "Take Me On The Floor" was great; it should have been much bigger. I hope radio doesn't snub this song as well (again), however I'm not holding my breath.

There are IMO two reasons why TMOTF didn't take off.
1. They didn't send an edit since the original had a swear word 2. Their performance on SYTYCD could have saved it but it was the day MJ died.

so would u add the spins together to get 24? or would u just count 17 for 2009 version?
also now that i think about it, did they ever officially release a video with TMOTF in the US?

I love them. I hope the third album continues to build on their success now even though it was basically one single that became successful :(

The TMOTF vid was never released here. They made the live performance from SYTYCD to iTunes.
I think both versions count the same.

Two other examples of re-released singles: Savage Garden's "To The Moon and Back" and Gavin DeGraw's "Follow Through." While neither of them did much either time they were released, I understand why the label wanted to give them second chances.
"4Ever" is such a great pop song, and so much better than any of their recent singles. I think it deserves the second chance. "Everything I'm Not" same thing.

Both wrong. You think radio is going to bitch about one word? I don't think Michael Jackson had anything to do with "Take Me On The Floor" flopping. The song was already on its way out when he died.

It is doing well. Gained a total of 17 spins yesterday. I really hope it continues to climb. Z100 definitely needs to add this single this time around.
