As of this week, it is. Last week, it tied the long-standing 43 week run set by Blues Traveler with "Run-Around."

And in case anyone is wondering, "Yeah!" only spent 39 weeks on. It got booted during the mysterious, one-time-only, recurrent purge that AT40 did last year. If it weren't for that, the song would, surely, have set an impossible-to-beat record.

In researching all of these, I stumbled onto an error on the part of the AT40 research staff.  The 50 week run of "Here Without You" includes holiday weeks.  AT40/CT40 has always counted holiday weeks.  When Ryan mentioned, last year, that 3 Doors Down had surpassed Blues Traveler's record, the AT40 crew failed to note that R&R's official weeks on totals don't include the holiday weeks.  Thus, Blues Traveler's record setting run was, actually, 45 weeks (i.e. Ryan should've waited 2 weeks to proclaim 3 Doors Down as a record breaker. They broke the record, anyway, so the point is moot).

As it stands, Kelly is, presently, in third place.  She'll tie Blues Traveler for second if she's on next week.  This week, she shares third place with "Someday" (spent 44 weeks on, good catch ChartKid).

The other two songs didn't quite hit the Blues Traveler mark.  "Another Night" was on for 43 weeks and "I'll Be" was on for 42.

And should this record include data from a competing show & radio network (Casey's Top 40/WW1). Funny how clouded this simple chart fact is debatable.

By today's standards, show research does need to be exact or totally accurate. Oh, well.
