I still remember the first time I heard "Sugar, We're Going Down", and immediately thought hearing the intro riff that a Creed-copycat band was taking over Pop radio until I heard the first note from the singer.
The beginning sounds just like "Higher" or "My Sacrifice" up until you hear the lead singer come in.
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

Top 20 smash!
#19 with a +514 bullet.
Does anyone think it can go top 10 the first official chart of 2006?

Damn, the lead singer of this band has the biggest and ugliest side-burns I've ever seen. Anyways, the song is holding steady. As for the video, it's good but the clapping is pretty annoying.

This song has grown on me. I like it, but still not as much as SWGD.

This will go top 10 in just a few days! I really wanted them to keep one song in the top 10, but it looks like it will be Kayne West and Ne-Yo this week and they'll occupy #11 and #12. :(

Still loving this song. I'm hoping it can make Top 5, at least.

LMAO! Sadly, those lyrics aren't so far off from what you hear in the actual song.

But it's a little less family-friendly. ;)
I didn't think it'd be a good idea to link it.

Has this outpeaked "Sugar..."? I think Sugar peaked @ #5 and this is now #4.

Has any of the CHR/Pop stations played the dance remixes?

Now sitting at #3. But Natasha Bedingfield could kick them out of it soon.

A #3 peak! :o Doesn't look like it will get much farther than that. I still love "Sugar, We're Going Down" more than this but the run that this has had is quite impressive.

What is "emo" ??
|
|
|
Post by britneyrules on Feb 27, 2006 2:34:32 GMT -5
Emo is defined as Emotional music. Hawthorne Heights are described as Emo because of their "so cut my wrists and black my eyes" lyric in OIFL. Dashboard Confessional is another band people qualify as emo because all they do is talk about girls dumping them and then wanting to die or feeling like shit.
Its basically what the cool preppy kids who have no sense of style or music say they are to get attention.
Losers.

"Dance, Dance" is not an emo song.

ROFL at the thought of this being Emo. Anyways, I cannot believe this has managed an official peak of #3!

This song isn't emo, but Fall Out Boy is considered an emo band. My school is full of emo kids and they are all Fall Out Boy fanatics. In a way, this is an emo song.

LOL. I would think Good Charlotte is more emo than Fall Out Boy.
