This is already her third biggest hit, and I could see it becoming bigger then "Boyfriend". it's hard to believe everyone was appaled when this was set to be the first single.

I definitely really didn't like it when I heard the chorus clip when it first leaked. I liked the "BF" clip so much more. But this definitely grew on me! |

I'm assuming you are going by the Hot 100, because on the Pop chart it is still her 5th biggest hit (which would make it her smallest so far). |

Is this already flopping on Pop? Well it's not looking too good right now #37 +128, it was in the top 10 Greatest Gainers 2 weeks ago with a bullet in the 400's. This song has had an odd run since it had its highest bullet during the break, while everyone else was really low. I wonder how this would've done if she hadn't released it right before the holidays. If she maintains a small bullet she could still go top 30 with several songs going recurrent soon and currently only Cascada and Eminem behind her with larger bullets, that is until James Blunt starts blowing up. |

^ close... look at the TRL thread in the Music Forum. LOVE was #1 on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Avenged Sevenfold was #1 on Wednesday. Kelly retired at #1 last Friday. So it wasn't 3 days in a row, although it was 3 days this week.

I still think Ashlee doesn't get the radio respect she should after all of the SNL/Orange Bowl stuff and then combined with this video just being boring I think is the real reason this song isn't doing good.
Its catchy and I love Ashlee but radio won't give her the time of day.

If Ashlee wants another hit, she should IMO go for Coming Back For More or Say Goodbye next. An upbeat song and an awesome ballad that I think have the potential to be big hits. If she gets lucky and gets a 5th single she should go for Catch Me When I Fall or Dancing Alone. None of those songs are as repetitive or annoying as L.O.V.E.

If Love flops...I have a hard time believing she will get more than a third single.

She is going to have a difficult time making top 30 at this rate, especially with James Blunt right behind her, and a lot of new music coming up from the 50's next week. Most of the songs ahead of her are gaining faster than she as well.
