I'm not a huge fan of his Womanizer mixes, but I think Junior did a great job on Miles Away. The synthapella for it will be gorgeous.

A lot of other remixers seem to be trying to imitate Moto Blanco-style disco house lately, and it often results in an interesting fusion of styles (see Jody's mix for LeAnn Rimes, for example). I decided to try this myself just to see what happens. Plus, Warner actually released (sort of) a Madonna acapella! Of course I had to remix this.... The only sample is the drum loop from one of Moto Blanco's mixes (and it's hardly audible - if you want to hear it solo'd go to 4mins in the dubstrumental). You can listen to the radio edit on my MySpace page www.myspace.com/biterror) (<--- Add me!) or download below: Bit Error House Vocal Mix 6:22 tinyurl.com/milvocBit Error Dubstrumental 6:22 tinyurl.com/milstrBit Error Filter Dub 6:53 tinyurl.com/milfilBit Error House Radio Mix 3:29 tinyurl.com/mradioI've got some fun beats and sounds lined up for my next project, but I'm not too sure what it is yet. Hopefully they will fit together... stay tuned! Enjoy and thanks for the support! Bert/Bit Error

Hah, I wish... I meant the acapella though. no i meant the pella too......they released it or someone filtered one? i thought madonna acapellas were locked up tight in vaults or something! i'd love to hear it It's the studio one. Though it was possible to filter a so-so one. The occasional good acapellas have surfaced eventually.

i like how he uses the "bedtime story" moan in it lol i alwas make that noise Me too. And the "travelling" sample. The main riff is from his Sound Factory mix of BRM's "Your Loving Arms."

I think Junior's mixes for this are genius. Trypsin did a really nice mix too that should hopefully be available soon.

according to people who heard peter spin this past wknd @ cielo, he played two different mixes of "miles away!" one mix can be heard here about 10 minutes into the clip: www.youtube.com/watch?v=lT-bYCRn4Zkwow alan t looks like pure sketch in that video, he needs to put the bag down

Just who is this Cajjmere Wray person? Worst remixer ever. IMHO. "Miles Away" has bombed everywhere, including the UK where Madge The Vadge has never had a single peak any lower than No. 16... until now.

There is a new DJ Paulo's Fuzzy Dream Mix (9:21) that is making the rounds. It's pretty good. I like the pads and effects. It's not as hard-hitting as I was hoping it would be, but it's tasteful.

ew what was he thinking?????????????? ??? talk about turning something pretty into something fugly I like the way the vocal effects and the pads and bass, but the electro elements are a little much. It feels like a messier version of the Ibiza mix of "Happy People."

I find it hardly bloody unlikey that rauhofer would help it reach #1 ... Kaskade Yes...but Rauhofers 2001 sounding mix .... puhlease !!!
Peter's more recent mixes did not help Madonna's Club chart sucess ... Mother & Father anyone ?
And the mixes for Miles Away were the best ones she's had in a long time ...

In some places I have read that "Mother & Father" wasn't formally promoted and that it just happened to chart at that time. Peter's full mix of that was on this one unmixed 12" EP that was released for the Live At Roxy 4 compilation.

Peter's full mix of that was on this one unmixed 12" EP that was released for the Live At Roxy 4 compilation. peter's mix of mom and pop was also on promo only mainstream club july 2005. i hated that song off the American Life album(probably the worst song on there) and thought peter did a good job making it TOLERABLE I didn't like it that much initially (mostly the rap). But it grew on me. After hearing it performed during the tour with the interpolation of "Intervention", I began to like it a lot more. I didn't like "Intervention" that much at that time. I wanted to recreate that version, but I hadn't learned how to do editing and stuff until early 2006 so I couldn't. Those tour demo versions from that tour had leaked by that time, but the "Mother Father/Intervention" one was missing the synths that were in the actual live version and original. At least the one that I had found did not have it. I liked Peter's mix from the first listen.

I liked Peter's mix from the first listen. it reminds me of his part 2 mix of "we belong together" And that Steve Lawler mixes of "Back To Basics" by Shapeshifters. Someone made a rough mashup using the BTB dub and the WBT vocals around the time Peter was doing his part 2 of WBT to give people an idea of what to expect. It was interesting how well it fit together. The club/dub of the Lawler mixes can be previewed here: www.7digital.com/artists/the-shapeshifters/back-to-basics/

naughty peter just posted an update on his facebook: "who wants his 'miles away' mixes and what are you willing to do for them hehe!" :o can he leak them if he wants? i mean if the acapella leaked(which it did) what's to stop him from giving out the mixes? his mix of "get together"(in some form anyway) leaked... LOL. He could always edit/change his mix and give that out and we wouldn't know the difference since the majority of us have not actually heard it outside of those YouTube clips or when he played it live.
