JoJo said yesterday herself on teenmusic.com (it was a chat I was in that they had) that she's usually the last to know the release date, and for now it's October 17. She also said that they try to postition it to where the single is at its peak when the album drops.

I've had a go at writing a MAD TV-esque parody of this. Just a bit of fun, tell me what you think of it. Be honest, criticism is good!
Obviously you have to imagine it to the tune of the song, and the way Jojo would sing it.
Jojo – Legal too late
[comedienne dressed as little girl wearing ribbons in her hair and carrying a lollipop, but also wearing a short skirt and tight vest]
Used to be a normal schoolgirl
Playing with my barbie and ken
Then I got myself a record label
Despite the fact that I was just ten
Look at me
I’m all the rage
But please don’t touch
I’m still underage
I’ll be legal too late
So why should I wait
Till I menstruate?
Anyway
The guys all love a bit of jailbait

But my manager says I won’t get far

[oversings] a padded bra!

I am really loving this song. Though it is in the same vein as Leave (Get Out) its still heads and shoulders above some of the newer material that gets mentioned on this board (imo).

She is legal in Canada though because 14 is the age of consent here. However it might change sometime soon to 16 since we have a Conservative government in power for the first time in 13 years. I support voted for them because they actually have moral values not like the Liberals or the NDP. |

I heard this on the radio for the first time today. I've been jamming to it for a month but you know. I still think Oct. 17th is too late. They better release another single before the album or it'll really be too little too late.. And ha @ you all. I'm her age. |
