I wouldnβt be surprised if they both play songs from their days with their groups. I love Gladys including quite a few of her solo songs, but it wouldnβt be much of a competition if it was strictly their solo discographies because Gladys didnβt release many memorable solo songs while Patti has a lot... theyβre basically the reverse of each other.. most of Pattiβs big hits were her solo ones while most of Gladysβ were with The Pips.

Love Patti and Gladys! FYI, they were born 4 days apart... in late May of 1944.

This was the best verzuz so far, loved everyminute.
Btw, the comment section is like the best vip party ever, from Michelle Obama and Oprah to Mariah and Viola Davis.

This was an amazing night. Gladys did her "Love Overboard" choreo and Patti kicked her shoes off.

Also, I think it could be nice if somehow someone could get in touch with Patti's management because she has some albums that are under certified:
I'm in Love Again (1983) should probably be Platinum now Winner in You (1986) is probably Double Platinum Be Yourself (1989) should probably be Gold now Burnin' (1991) Maybe Platinum Live! (1992) should probably be Gold now Greatest Hits (1996) should probably be Gold now 20th Century Masters-Millennium Collection should probably be Gold now Timeless Journey (2004) should probably be Gold now

Kinda random that based on the naming, the Bluebelles count but Labelle doesnβt.

I wish I had Twitter. I'm wondering if someone could get in touch with The Hot Sheet, who created this infographic. It looks like they included chart data for Patti LaBelle and the Bluebelles but omitted chart data for Labelle, which is what the group was renamed in the 1970s. The group was arguably more successful from a chart perspective as Labelle than they were as Patti LaBelle & the Bluebelles. By omitting Labelle, they're overlooking the fact that Patti actually has two #1 hits. They haven't included her biggest hit, Lady Marmalade!

Hey marcjm, in the responses for the post, it looks like they answered how they did the chart:
