Pink has an amazing voice, what are talking about? She just doesn't showcase it in this song at all. You're probably one of the MANY people that missed out on 'Try This.' ;) Pink has admitted MANY times herself she doesn't take care of her voice - going long periods of time without singing at all and smoking. During her last concert tour in Europe she was so out of shape she could barely perform - and ran out of breath on every song - thats when the rumors of her demise really started to resonate with the public. In the video she looks buff - she's been working out and she looks better but her voice has a rougher, less appealing, texture. I own ALL of Pinks albums and I think Mizundastood is one of the best albums of the last decade. |

This has grown on me a lot, but I'm still sure it'll stall around the same peak that "Trouble" and "God Is A DJ" landed at. I hope I'm wrong and it becomes a sleeper hit.

Wow, at this pace Top 20 shouldn't be too hard.
With the right promo it could go top 10, #1 i'm doubtful.

Ragin, I agree with you. Upon hearing the song I hated it but when I saw the video somehow the song seemed better. That might explain the add date being moved.
I love Pink and I also have all her albums and I'm hopeful this one will be closer to Mizunderstood as that album had amazing songs on it whereas her last one was hit or miss, mostly miss.

In my opinion, her voice is in the best condition it's been in since Missundazstood. Like someone else said, this song doesn't show off her voice at all. It's very talky/sing-songy. Listen to Nobody Knows. She hasn't smoked in almost 2 years, now. |
