I never expected it to make the top 10 on pop but it's looking like it will do just that on the hot 100. If they are planning on coming out with the next single right around the drop date of the album, then all this really needs to do is make the top 20 and mission accomplished. This is basically an ice breaker anyway to introduce her back into the scene. Then she can go the 2nd single smash route (hopefully) and release something like LWTH or UAYH.

I seen the video Saturday. It's okay... This is a great song to re-introduce Pink to the public after her flop album. I hope the second single is better though.

Research has not come back yet. All these adds and spins are based on the fact that she is Pink (a huge artist) and Jive records (one of the best radio departments).... so really we don't know how this will do yet. when research comes back it could tank. I hope it doesn't though. This song tested 4th of all here singles - it did not test well...... Yeah! You're back! Whats going on at Jive? Are they happy with her choice now? You said SG is the worst on the test song, can you tell us the rank of the test single? Do you know if your song U And Ur Hand will be second single? Or its a another song? Tell us whats going on! |

Radio stations test songs among potential listens, usually through a research company. If a song tests well, obviously a station will want to play it more. Especially if that's coupled with a big number of requests for the song. If it doesn't test well, the station probably won't be as receptive to it. It's a side effect of radio going corporate and being risk adverse. Focus groups are taking over the world. |

I want to like this, I really do. But I've seen the video three times now, and it's just so mediocre. It's like she's taken everything she's done in the last five years took the average of it, and hoped somewhere along the way a hit would shake loose. And considering I've liked everything she's done so far ("Lady Marmalade" notwithstanding) that's really disappointing. Maybe in time it'll sound better, but for now it's just not working.

Jive's thoughts are that this single is basically just to get her on the map again and the video even more so. They know it tested 4th out of the 4 singles they tested for the 1st single. UAUH tested #1. They have shot a video for that - same budget and same director. They believe that UAUH will take the project home. I personally asked the head of Promotions how it was doing and he said "We won't know till about 4 weeks when the call out research comes back" It will either drop fast at that point, fizzle out, or go all the way. I hope it does really well because Pink has an AWESOME voice.  |

The video really has nothing to do with the song unfortunately but she looks great in it. It starts out with her jumping rope getting ready for some kinda boxing match or something. Then she throws a wrench at some dude.
The video is narrated and there is a book at the bottom telling a different story. Kinda weird. There is another part were the special fx are like the matrix almost she is on a balcony of some futuristic world dancing at a party. What I saw was not completely done though and I know they were working on it. This is part of the reason they went with SG - honestly the video was better. Having said that, this video is not at all bad. She looks great and the song moves it. I think any Pink fan will love it.

lol i still laugh so hard at the Stupid Girls video i like how she dances lol. Today i was walking in school and kept thinking about it and just randomly laught and people were looking i was a retard lol. I like how she says it all manly "STUPID GIRLS". LOL i also like when shes w/puts the toothbrush in her mouth and shes like noooo nooo and then she puts it again n she throws up lol and wtf is she saying?? This sonng sound so great now on radio. She will really blow up again and regain her popularity in all those countries like the UK. They are already predicting a #1 for her over there. She was huge overthere during the MIZAND..... era
