I've given this song many listens, and I still HATE it! What's with this "blast-from-the-past" crap?! I definitely see this song hitting a brick wall quick...peaking around number 9 or 10.

LOL everyone said that about it hitting the top 20. ROTF yeah. Now it hit top 20, they will say it will hit a brick wall when it reaches number 10 or 9. Then IF it hits top 10, they will say it will hit a brick wall when it reaches number 8 or 7. Lord knows till when they will keep sounding like a broken record.

It may even hit #1 for all I care, but that doesn't make it a good song. I'll admit it, it's catchy, but more like one of those songs that get stuck in your head and you want out, not one of those that you enjoy getting stuck in your head.

www.thestar.com/NASApp/cs/Con...l=969483191630Quote: CHRISTINA AGUILERA VS. RAMMSTEIN, "AIN'T NO OTHER RAMMSTEIN ESKIMO" What could a pop tart possibly have in common with a German industrial band? Zero. But having nothing in common is not the same as incompatibility, which is why Aguilera's expressive wail and Rammstein's joyless grunting fit together so seamlessly: Having said that, the original version of Xtina's "Ain't No Other Man" is one of the year's most exhilarating surprises. djschmolli.multiply.com/music/item/47 awesome mashup of Rammstein/Christina

From the 6/29 Rollingstone. Thanks to Jon for typing it up. :)
DOWNLOAD NOW: Christina Aguilera 3 1/2 stars Ain't No Other Man - iTunes The First single from Christina Aguilera's forthcoming Back to Basics album, "Ain't No Other Man" is hard-grooving, smitten retro-soul: DJ Premier's beat is all glossy James Brown funk and Aguilera sounds more like Chaka Khan than any post-Mariah belter. Her punch-and-jab verses, wordy chorus and amped-up Sevneties sas give the song serious momentum. It's catchym it's rousing and as dance-pop throwbacks go, it's eight times better than that "Lady Marmalade" remake
Rollingstone Editor's Favorite Albums Singles and Videos.
1. Christina Aguilera - "Ain't No Other Man You know how Britney married a hot, unwashed dude and immediately killed her career? Well, XTina married a schlumpy accountant or something and immediately cut her hottest track ever: this horn-and-break-beat-powered Chaka-licious party jam. That account must be packin!.

I don't wanna bring up Beyonce's new song, but I think her song will have the more instant success while AMOM will have the longevity.

what up everybody!!! I'm new here, names Marquis
I'd just like to say that the new Christina joint is off the chain. She sings her ass off on this track. I think that this song alone places Xtina in a league of her own vocally. As far as todays artist go, I truly think that Xtina is one of, if not THE, most talented vocally. I mean, she absolutely shines on ANOM. This is a sure fire hit, and I can't wait to hear what else she has hidden under her sleeves.

Shes been getting excellent reviews from everywhere!! That's funny, I'm hearing a lot of negative feedback so far. At least as far as this one song goes.

Anyone know what the 2nd single is going to be? This one's already peaked on my PC.

You hate the song, no need to ramble on and on about how you hate it and act like you're the higher God of music. Looking at your list your taste seems cheesy and lame and boring. Bon Jovi and Jewel. Oh And around 20 reviews from different publications RAVE about the song. You hate the song but that doesn't mean you should take its critical acclaim away from it. How efffing annoying.

I can't get enough of this song. Unlike some people here, I totally feel it and I think this is a major, major comeback song. Well, my opinion anyway. Nice seeing the reviews being so positive!
This song certainly wont be #1 but at least it will open way for the album and the new single, by the time the album is out, the 2nd single will be already on the airwaves. I'm sure
Someone on LD mentioned a song called 'Hurt' as being a possible 2nd single but nobody can tell yet.

Christina is probably pissed hearing beyonce's song all the time on the radio LOL
Goodbye spotlight, it was good while it lasted for about 3 weeks though.
