^It's actually been holding pretty steady, despite the low bullet. ANOM was added to iTunes in Germany the other day. Two versions on charting on the Top 100... One at #16 and the other at #26.

I heard she's behind Shakira by 500 copies ONLY. Damn this luck, UGH. Sometimes the difference between #1 & #2 is like 10-20 copies, in UK.

Oh, that's interesting. I'd hate to be the #2 in that case.

This song is struggling really hard. I hope it can make it to the top 5 at least. :)

There's Justin Timberlake and Fergie to worry about next, though. Unless this one picks up a strong second wind, it looks like this one has peaked at #7 on Pop.

Maybe with the maxi coming out tomorrow she can at least hold the #2 position for a while and hang in at the TOP5 for sometime, maybe till the album drop. I wished she had gone to no1 but anyway, maybe a great amount of sales will be better than the position in the end.

she will go to #1 next week as their is no competition only paris hilton and Cascada Cascada probably will be top 5 and Paris is struggling.
Although its all RCAs fault for releasing a single this week and then the maxi single the 31st nobody even does that. Plus they released it on downloads 4 weeks ago without it being able to enter the chart

songs dont tend to rise in their second week, or any other week of release on the UK chart. usually the first week is the biggest.

With the integration of downloads into the official charts, quite a number of songs have spent numerous weeks yo-yo-ing around the top 10 of the charts. It's still possible for her to hit number 1 the week the album is released, although unlikely.
Looking back at CHR/Pop, I think it's safe to say the song is pretty much done. Number 7 is not bad all, and all the more respectable since so many people were even doubting this song to hit the top 10.

As much clout as Christina gets for being an A-list music celebrity, people forgot that she was coming back from 2 flop singles (Carwash and Tilt Ya Head Back). In addition, with the exception of Beautiful and possibly Can't Hold Us Down, none of the singles from Stripped were mega-successful chart topping hits. However, despite all that, she still managed to sell 4 million domestically. She is just one of those artists that doesn't need mega chart topping hits to shift her albums.

Fighter went to #5. 5 on Pop is a hit, but I did say "mega successful chart topping" hit. I would consider Fighter a moderate hit. Fighter barely cracked the top 20 of Billboard Hot 100. Granted, it would had probably done better in this day and age, but Beautiful and CHUD were exponentially bigger hits.

I dont know anyone who even expected this to hit #1...or even top 5...except for some optimistic fans. I dont get why a #7 peak is embarassing...especially when in comparison to a shock hit by another group :eyebrow:

I thought that ANOM peaked at #6? It says so on Billboard.com.

They mean billboard, not pop play. Besides the Hot 100, it also peaked @ 6 on the BB Pop Airplay chart.
