I absolutely LOVE the radio edit, especially the beginning. The album version was so-so.

This is definitely one of my least favorite songs by Madonna. It was just so dull, IMO.

This was just average for her even though I love the album from which it came from. I didn't really like the way she looked in the video.

Mediocre song from an otherwise excellent album.

I liked it. I just wish it would've done better.

I never heard a radio edit for this. I can't imagine being any better than the album version because its perfect the way it is. My favorite part is the noisy piano breakdown in the middle. The video is very underrated, very well made and edited. She looked cool as a Geisha girl.

One of my favorite songs from ROL & I love the video.
I always seem to like her least popular videos best, ha.
The song showcases how effectively Madge & Orbit immersed techno and ambient elements into a mainstream pop album. Brilliant.

It only got to #93 in Billboard in 1999

It only got to #93 in Billboard in 1999 That's too bad! It was such a great song. I remember how disappointed I was in 1990 when "Oh Father" only went to #20 on AT40. :(

I didn't expect to see another single released from Ray of Light. I can't complain though, since this song is solid.

It only got to #93 in Billboard in 1999 Becuase WBR released the single 2 months late. They shouldn't have bothered. I hardly heard this at the time on NYC radio.

I thought this was an unusual choice for a single from the album. I like it, but I don't love it. The vocals and lyrics are absolutely stunning. But the House-style production just didn't work for me. I like it, but it was just a mismatch with the song. The video was nice too.
I really loved Peter Rauhofer (using his Club 69 alias) and Talvin Singh's remixes. I recall Peter telling one of the Madonna sites a story a few years back about how he was afraid to disappoint Madonna (and her team) with just one version, so he produced four main versions in the hopes they would approve of at least one. All of them were released. I enjoyed the main Future Mix as the production was much more suitable for the song and the vocals felt more ethereal. The Talvin Singh mix had a lush Indian feel. It also suited the vocals well. I didn't care for the Kruder & Dorfmeister mix that much.

The Club 69 Speed Mix might be my favorite version of this. All of Peter's remixes were really good.

I always forget about this song. It's nice when I'm listening to Ray of Light but I rarely listen to it on its own.

Last time I heard it is when AT40 - the 80s played the Top 100 of 1998 as a bonus show and this was one of the optional songs. I still like it.

This is definitely one of my least favorite songs by Madonna. It was just so dull, IMO. I feel the same way. It's one of my least liked Madonna singles. The video is really cool though, one of the best from the album.

Absolutely the BEST and my fave single from the ROL era. Love that the video showcased the Japanese/geisha culture. I remember seeing it for the first time in '99 on Vh1. I really do miss that era.

Good song. I never knew this even charted anywhere until recently. I just remember seeing the video a few times on vh1 back in the day. Good album. Discovered it recently

She sounds so amazing over this production. I don't understand the hatred towards this song. I could only imagine how people reacted to this at the clubs during its heyday.

Decent song but not my favorite from her 1998 album (I prefer "Frozen"). This got some airplay on B96 back then.
