on WRMF on Saturday I heard Stars on 54 - If You Could Read My Mind. WALK on Long Island still has this in regular rotation. KNGY in San Francisco plays that at least once a week too.

Jack FM yesterday played "Let's Get Rocked" from Def Leppard. They've also been playing "Poison" from Alice Cooper lately, too. Classic Hits station WHCN (River 105.9) in Hartford has been known to play the Alice Cooper song from time to time.

Between WTIC, WHCN, and to an extent WCCC, Hartford has to be one of the top "hair metal" markets in the country.

I heard "Ghost Of You And Me" by BBMak on WEFM this morning. Three songs later, they played "You Are The Girl" by The Cars. True, that was all over the radio back in the fall of 1987, but nowadays, the only songs by the Cars that I hear on the radio are "Shake It Up" and "Drive". I occasionally hear "Just What I Needed", "Let's Go" and "You Might Think", but those other two are played much more often.

I forgot who sings it but it is Putting On The Ritz, I heard it on my local radio station in biloxi. The artist of that song is Taco. Unless you heard the original Irving Berlin version, which is highly unlikely, since that's from way back in the 1930s, I think.

I'll call this one semi-obscure, but XM's "The Blend" is currently playing Michael Bolton's "How Can We Be Lovers".

Yeah, semi-obscure is what many songs mentioned on this thread should be called, and "How Can We Be Lovers" is a good example. That song was played to death on the radio around this time back in 1990, but it was all but forgotten by even AC radio about a year later. About the only MB song I hear anymore is "When A Man Loves A Woman" (although I do hear "How Am I Supposed To Live Without You" and "Time Love And Tenderness" occasionally.)

WEFM is another good station to hear obscure songs. I heard "Wherever Would I Be" by Daryl Hall & Dusty Springfield on WEFM this morning. I also heard "More Than Love" by Los Lonely Boys, which to some of you, doesn't seem old enough to be considered obscure, but then again, how many stations still play that song?

I heard several obscure songs on WEFM this morning:
"The Captain Of Her Heart" by Double "Heart Of The Night" by Juice Newton
Before the Double song was a really nice song that sounded like something from the mid-90s but, after doing a Google search on the lyrics, I found is actually relatively new, so it's too early to tell whether or not it's going to fade into obscurity (though something tells me that it will)
Oh, the song is "I'll Try" by Jonatha Brooke. That just might be my next Personal Top 30 #1 song.
EDIT: After doing a little more thorough research, I just realized that the Jonatha Brooke song is from the soundtrack of "Finding Neverland", which came out sometime in 2002, not February, 2006 as stated on Amazon, so that would count as an obscure hit.
Too bad I hadn't heard it back in 2002, which was a very weak year in music. It probably would have been the #1 song of that year. Oh well.

Mix 96.9 played "Feelin' Way Too Damn Good" this weekend. I wouldn't rush to call that one obscure just yet. Maybe in five years from now I would. For now, I'd be more apt to give an obscure tag to "Too Bad", which followed up "How You Remind Me".

This morning on XM's the Blend, "I'll Be Alright Without You" by Journey. Seems to me that I heard this song on WEFM sometime within the past few months. One of Journey's best, yet underrated songs. This should have at least gone Top Five, but it just barely missed the Top Ten (peaking at #11).

This morning, I heard "I Need You" by Marc Anthony on WEFM. I've heard that song a few times since it was a big AC hit in 2002, but not anytime in the past year.

And this morning, on my way to the service station, I heard the tail end of "I Will Carry You" by Clay Aiken, as well as the beginning of "Send One Your Love" by Stevie Wonder.
