This was the last, and most successful single, from her debut album "The Right Stuff". It's a great ballad. There's a very jazzy feel to it. Definitely my favorite by Vanessa.
The Billboard Hot 100: #8 Adult Contemporary: #2 Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks: #1

Probably my favorite from her too. Either this or "Love Is". Love the saxophone and how she starts singing along with the melody in the beginning: "La da da da..." Her vocals are very relaxed here, at times particularly her later stuff, she always seemed very vocally reserved.

This is my second favourite song from her now. But that could change, since I first heard it a little over a year ago. It's really good. Angel-V used the song as inspiration on Urapopstar, but it was never released since her PR is wasting time on Pulse Music!

Sorry, but "Darlin I " was the last single from her "Right Stuff " CD and actually charted fairly. And another thing, I like "Darlin" much better as well. Here are the stats:
#10 R&B Singles #10 Adult Contemporary #88 Hot 100

I like this song... I remember she looked so hot on the picture sleeve for this single.

Do you have a picture of her bucked naked in Playboy? Anyway, I like this song. I like all her songs except "Love Is".

Here are the stats: #10 R&B Singles #10 Adult Contemporary #88 Hot 100 And, as stated in another Vanessa Williams topic, "Darlin' I" is my favorite song by Vanessa. "Dreamin'" is pretty decent as well.

One of her best singles...her debut album had some classic songs on it...a few that sound dated ("The Look"), but for the most part they got it right! This is a gem.

A stunning song. And a stunning woman to match. She is just achingly gorgeous in that video.

I prefer "Save the Best For Last" and "Love Is" (love those two to death), but earlier this year while in the midst of exploring 1989 in music (which lasted like 3/4 of this year), I came to appreciate this one more than I had. I think now I could call it a go-to whenever I'm in the mood for something pleasant and soothing that won't bring out all the feels so strongly (like the other two would).

This is a very nice track. I would probably rank this behind "Running Back To You" and "Save The Best For Last".
